Feature Indigenous Streamers
November is Native American/Alaska Native Heritage month do you have any plans to highlight this or feature Native Streamers?

one of the most voted for (if not the most) and twitch still didn't come through? Twitch has a lot to make up for at this point.

I agree! Inclusion and diversity is important - especially to Native gamers! There are many of us!

The original people of Turtle Island (aka North America) honor and celebrate our culture every day of the year. Should there be a month or window of time where Indigenous streamers are featured? Absolutely, but I do question how we decide how long that period should be or when. As for the comment about a border between Canada and the U.S ... we for the original people, that just does not exist. This imaginary border was created by colonizers and not the indigenous. So the time to celebrate/feature should be that of the indigenous streamers not another euro-centric system. More feedback/input from Indigenous streamers should be the foundation of that decision.

I see some questions in the comments and I want to explain why November. The head office of Twitch is in the United States and so is its parent company Amazon. Native American/Alaska Native Heritage Month was established in 1990 by President George H. W. Bush. It is the official month in the US.
Canada it is June but not officially recognized nationally as June 21 is National Indigenous Peoples Day. Could they do something for all the Indigenous people's days, yes but for a whole month November would work just fine. Plus the border between the US and Canada is theirs, not ours.

Help bring light to the cause of MMIW, residential school survivors, and stolen land, Twitch. Let their voices be heard!

I love the idea, but the phrasing "Native America/Alaska Native" seems US-centric.
Also, how do you pick which month? In Canada, "National Indigenous History Month" is in June.
I'm afraid that I don't know about other countries though because my Google skills are failing me today. -
