Sub mode Need to create a gifted sub mode and sub mode. I notice watching gta rp that all streamer go to sub mode and still get a toxic chat because of the gifted subs. Either make it two different modes or make it so that the longest following channel gets the sub and not the new ones that hops into other streams

Include an undo timeout option Some viewers are getting a 1hr timeout just for subscribing.
At least we could fix that Twitch blunder with an undo function.Sometimes viewers are accidentally timeout due to the jumps in chat. Those can be reverted but the new sub timeout cannot.

Why do mods have to exit mod view to clear chat? Why not have all available mod actions on the mod view? Or does that make too much sense?
Mods have to exit mod view to clear chat which a mod action.
To avoid accidents the "Clear Chat" option could be placed in the menu above.2 votes -

Can I Have Auto-Mod Replace Offending Words? Is there a way to replace an offensive word with new characters or text? Example : The word "****" would be replaced with "@#$%". Is this something that can be done already?

Customise request unban We should be able to customize the
"Enter a reason for your unban" message and "help hints"
Example use case: a channel would describe what they expect the user to do in the field in order to apply for a unban correctly.

Automod couple channel language to strictness Ever since July we had to scale down Automod to (lowest) on chat to lowest filtering, and yet the chat language German the automod manges to find and put serval perfectly normal words as held for review... As potential slurs...
For example:
- Every chat message containing "wenig / weniger" the German words for "few and fewer", "Kleinigkeit" the German word for "small thing", "Abonent/Abonement" the German words for "Subscriber and Subscription", "eine große Anstrengung" German for "a big effort"Is there any hope of Twitch connecting the set stream language to the the strictness Automod?

Streamers and Mods Not Communicating with Chat Banned Users Streamers and Mods should be required to allow at least two communications with chat banned users seeking an explanation for the ban/seeking to be reinstated. The only exception to this would be if a mod or streamer feels another request for lifting the ban should be allowed. Failure to communicate with the banned user should result in loss of Affiliate or Partner status because they failed to represent what Twitch is, how chat bans work.

Have a way for moderators to view a list of every user that is currently banned in a stream As a mod there have been times where I have banned someone and then later wanted to unban them, however I sometimes forget the username of the user I ban. There should be a channel setting where you can go to and see the list of everyone who's currently banned at the stream, which would make it easier to find the person I'm looking for and unban them

Offline and online only Automod phrases Make automod phrases to work only, when the channel is online or offline or both. (Add a checkbox next to the phrases)

Please have an option for non-mod settings to appear before mod settings My issue is that mod settings appear before non-mod settings. I do not use the mod settings that often, and I have sometimes cleared chat by accident.

Allow Moderators to ignore users Ignoring users can be very useful to remove negativity from your chat experience. Right now, it is not possible in chats you moderate. Surely it is your task to see negative things and remove them, but sometimes there are people, who are not an issue for chat in general, but for you personally. It would be great to have a switch or command (e.g. /fullignore) to remove these users from your chatting experience once and for all. This could then also remove them from being listed as recommended stream and similar situations.

Mods can highlight certain users messages Allow mods to highlight users so that they can see them easier in chat. This would make it easier to mod repeat offenders.

Automatically timeout chat from accounts created in the last x number of minutes/hours It’s reprehensible that Twitch does not have better protections for streamers. We know without the content from streamers, twitch would no longer exist.
Not allowing the repeat creation of fake user accounts within a given time period would be a start. Also settings for a streamer to automatically timeout chat from accounts created in the last x number of minutes/hours.

AutoMod Info Remains If another moderator hurries to Deny a message, all info pertaining to this message is lost as it removes itself. Could this potentially remain but just have the button removed and say (Actioned by ModeratorExample123)?
This allows us to deny the message, add the blocked terms and then also timeout/ban the user in question.

More options for moderator chat tool The new moderator chat feature is a really good base point for enabling moderators to do great work but can I suggest some more options for the future of this feature? Options such-as being able to search the chatlog (maybe by date or just by words) , being able to delete your mod comments, and real time refresh on the chat when were pop out mode

Let certain roles use certain words in the word filter Hey peeps, I was wondering if we could have the blacklist word filtering system be where subs can say certain words but non subs cant. For example if someone says "can you add me?" I would want subs to say this but not everyone.

Game directory moderators This might be something rather cool if you implement moderators for a specific game category. To clarify, users who have been watching a specific game for quite a while will be given moderator privileges to help with smaller channels. Of coarse, this privilege could be removed if users abuse this power and the channel broadcaster still has the option to ban them from their channel. Just a suggestion I think would be pretty neat, feel free to post any thoughts about this! :)

Twitch HQ should destroy Streamboo.com and similar spam at the root This has been a pervasive issue within Twitch for years and affects streamers of all sizes. Bot accounts will spam the same posts advertising cheap AI viewers for sale at websites like Streamboo.com, Twitchmax, Twitchstar, etc. Twitch HQ has seemingly infinite resources to invest in introducing new AI-centric technology that nobody has asked for, but refuses to do even the slightest bit to actually tackle this issue. I block and report multiple instances of these bots every single stream I do, and I've streamed every day for the past year. The accounts are deleted within seconds of reporting them, so…
