Access "Manage Moderation Settings" from Mod View
We currently cannot access the "Manage Moderation Settings" tool from Mod View, as this option from the normal chat tool widget does not appear on the Chat dropdown menu, nor is it found in the Mod Actions module.
There are options in the Moderation Settings like changing automod/block settings and enabling chat modes that are otherwise currently not available from Mod View. Until they become integrated in another way, the user should be able to access "Manage Moderation Settings" from Mod View. Currently we have to open regular chat in another window to access this.

Add ability for moderators to "hide" items in activity feed, including from streamer in certain circumstances.
A channel I mod for gets hate follows targetting part of the streamers' identity frequently - specifically the username being a hateful message.
At current, that name cannot be removed from the Activity Feed and Moderation Actions histories, even after the account has been banned for TOS violations.
This can result in them being visible to the streamer and mods for a while, depending on the activity of the channel. It would be nice for moderators to have the ability to hide such actions in those lists to protect Streamers from such hateful content.

Monitored/banned users
Similar to how only the mods and streamer can see a "Staff" category in the User List, it would be great for there to be a "Restricted Users" category that they could see as well that would show any users in chat who are either monitored, restricted or banned from chatting. This would be a great tool for actively monitoring those who are stalking and harassing a streamer without them having to type in chat. For those that have first time follower/chatter restrictions, it would allow mods to see brand new/ban evading accounts trying to wait out the restriction time.…

Dynamic Message history on Viewer Card
Mod View - Dynamically update Message history on a User Card.
Currently a User Card can be opened for a user of interest to see their Messages / Timeouts / Bans / Mod Comments. Once open any new Messages from that user do not appear in the card. This would be useful when 'monitoring' that user.

Prevent ad pre-roll when switching into Mod View from same channel
When switching into Moderator View to handle a problematic viewer is about the worst time to be forced into an ad roll - you lose all ability to assess how the streamer is responding.
I am fine with pre-rolls on channels I moderate. I'm even fine with pre-rolls if I go straight into mod view, but if I am being redirected from Channel X into Mod View for Channel X, pre-roll ads should be disabled - this is purely for a functional reason (and frankly chances are I've already been served a pre-roll so this shouldn't impact revenue).

Purged messages shown in history (who deleted what message)
With Mod Tools enabled you click the purge button to clear the message from chat and from the VOD, but there is no accountability on who deleted what when going back and reviewing what message was purged by a mod. It could even look the same as how AutoMod shows the message that is held and allowed or denied by the Mod in question.

Remove unban request if twitch bans the account
Currently it just displays no profile picture or name and none of the chat history is available. The only thing that shows is the reason put in the unban request.
Twitch should just auto deny the unban requests or remove them front he queue.

Mod view extensions/panels
Since the mod view is generally a small player it would be nice to add a panel style extension to the mod view which can be dragged and dropped on to the mod view.
This would allow mods to use third party tools without having to open another browser tab. They can stay focused on chat and moderating without switching back and forth.

Mod view 'active timeouts' widget
A widget in the modview to see all timeouts that are currently active in the channel you are moderating, so you can keep an eye out for timeouts that are about to run out.

Don't allow unban requests from blocked users
Users can be banned for plenty of reasons, so them having a way to appeal their ban is completely reasonable. However, if I have both banned and blocked a user, that's very deliberate, and I never want to see them again. That user should not be able to harass me by sending me an unban request.

Dismiss Unban Requests without Notifying the User
So far every single unban request I've gotten so far has been something fairly toxic (a vague insult, a racial slur, etc). I don't want to deny these requests, because doing so will notify the user and I don't really want them to know that I even looked at their request. But I also don't want them to just sit there forever, the more toxic requests there are the less I actually want to look at the thing at all, which eventually will pretty much completely defeat the point of having unban requests in the first place.
I'd like to…

Show who wrote Denied Messages ny Automod
Log who wrote denied messages by Automod or who ran against the Automod Blocked Words list Moderation View...
By the current design you see:
- what was denied/permitted after moderator review.
What you should see:
- who wrote it...Taken it is a 10 mins old throw away account: The user gets away unbanned and unreported

Add keyboard shortcuts to timeout/ban users from chat
As a moderator I usually use keyboard all the time in Twitch Chat. In Mod-View there is no option to trigger anything different than the default 10min timeout by mouseclick. As a "Chatty" user I am used to bind keyboard shortcuts for actions like Ban [b] / Unban [u] or /timeout 1 [1] /timeout 300 [2] and so on. It would be much easier to get anything similar in Mod-View when a moderator opens the user card.

Implement an Account Grading System
For the protection of streamers and to ease the duty of mods, it would be helpful to have some type of account grading system in place. For instance, users who have a history of being banned from channels will have a particular account grade assigned to their account.
This account grade will be viewable when a user in chat and/or a mod clicks their user name in chat.
For example, let's use account grades A-F.
Of course a healthy account that hasn't received any account bans from any channels throughout the entire Twitch platform will receive an A grade.

CHAT FENSTER

Search comments in chat by username
It would be nice in the new mod view to be able to search through the comments posted in chat by username. Best I could compare it to would be like cbenni, where you could type in someone's name and it would bring up their messages. This would be handy that rather than scrolling through chat, say for example if someone comments about someone else's message that they think is against the rules or starts a fight, you can quickly find it through a search.

Expose ban/timeout count across all channels in mod view
Currently, the mod view of a user exposes bans and timeouts specific to the channel. Expose bans and timeouts across all of Twitch.

Mod View Chat broke after /shoutout implemented
Using latest Chrome browser edition, i'm unable to do /slash commands, @, or reply to specific chats; basically anything that has a popup overlay in Mod View. This happened after /shoutout was pushed live on the service. I'm able to do all these things in normal channel chat view.
