1. Banned users should not be able to donate to a twitch-integrated charity fundraiser in a channel they’re banned in

   So, it turns out that even when you have a user banned in your channel, and blocked, they can still donate to a charity fundraiser on your page through the Twitch integrated charity feature.

   This needs to be rectified.

   A banned user should not be able to interact with my stream in any way, let alone have their name show up in my activity feed.

   It’s disruptive at the very least, and combined with other factors can be a tool for harassment.

2. Twitch Charity Overlay for on stream to show fundraising progress

   I'd love to be able to have an overlay on stream that showed my Twitch charity progress, similar to ones I can use on sites like Tiltify or Just Giving.

   It would help drive donations to charity and help people easily see progress during big charity streams and see how close we are to target even if not looking at the chat.

4. Allow donations to non-US charities

   I have seen many automated replies about charities that have requested to be added with a comment of "At this time, the charity tool is fully integrated with the PayPal Giving Fund; so if your charity is registered there, you can already find it to start a fundraising campaign"

   However, many charities that are already in the PayPal Giving Fund do not appear in Twitch's charity list - a request I logged provided this as an example.

   Can someone from Twitch confirm that you have restricted this to ONLY charities based in the US? This question does not seem to have been addressed, and would appreciate confirmation that this is the issue rather than a boilerplate reply that does not address the issue we are seeing.

   It would be cool if when running with a charity a donor got a special badge or emote because they donated. More incentive.

6. VIP or Iron man user .

   I'll keep it simple, a BUYABLE feature like turbo and prime that sets the user in a VIP category that is unbannable by streamer mods and host , Twitch mods would be the only one that can ban a vip . streamers and host can report them for breaking rules that are set by TWITCH and TWITCH ONLY. after the mod would look at the chat logs and clip of the vip user the twitch mod would determine if he/she broke rules set by twitch.

   This would help combat corrupt abusive admins and streamers because ive been banned on some accounts just for talking about the topic respectfully. they just didnt wanna have a opposing view existing . or if a female streamer made a joke about her ****** and a guy said yeah you got some nice pillows, and a mod that wants to be her boyfriend mutes and or bans the guy . thats not cool or right and it needs to stop.

   ill pay 20$ a month for that because im sick of these type of ppl ruining twitch as a whole these streamers think we watching this for them but its not about them its like a tv channel ur nothing chill out and humble urself.

   The Twitch charities thing should be available to all Twitch users and not just those who make Twitch money!

   It's a good thing I can just use Tiltify for charity fundraising because I will never be an affiliate or partner on Twitch!

14. Labrador West Ground Search & Rescue (NLSARA)

    Due of the lack of provincial coordination, a meeting was held in 1996, between representatives from the various SAR teams from across the province. The Newfoundland and Labrador Search and Rescue Association (NLSARA) was formed as a result of this meeting. After about sixteen months, a meeting was held with MHA Gerald Smith, who initiated a Private Members Bill in the House of Assembly. Through negotiations, the Department of Justice took ownership of the Volunteer Search & Rescue. As a result, with the assistance of the Department of Justice and both Police agencies and the efforts of the Association membership, The Newfoundland & Labrador Search & Rescue Association was incorporated and recognized by the province.

    Workers Compensation is provided by the Emergency Services Division (ESD) for all search and rescue, and training related activities.

    The Association is now incorporated as a non-profit organization and has been granted charitable status by Revenue Canada. The Association is part of a national body, Search & Rescue Volunteers of Canada (SARVAC) and also utilizes the guidance and support of the National Search & Rescue Secretariat.

    The Newfoundland and Labrador Search and Rescue Association is comprised of 30 teams from across Newfoundland and Labrador and is made up of 1000+ volunteers. The Association has an seven person executive consisting of a President, a Treasurer, a Secretary and four directors representing Eastern and Western Newfoundland regions and Central and Northern Labrador regions.

    The Association is responsible for ground & inland waters searches under the jurisdiction of the local policing agency. All teams under the Association have standard equipment which is the property of the Association. If a team were to fold, all equipment that was given to that team cannot be sold or given away without the permission of the Association.

    The Association recognizes the contribution of the many volunteers throughout the province. Last year, these twenty-seven teams were involved in 100+ missions and provided some twenty-five thousand volunteer hours to the people of Newfoundland and Labrador. In addition to search and rescue activities, the teams were also involved in communications and evacuations during the forest fire season, recovery of drowning victims, search for weapons and crime scene searches. They were involved in many festivals and community activities providing security during parades, winter carnivals and air shows. They provided countless hours of training to youth and scouting groups as well as training in the schools on ice safety and the Hug-A-Tree program. Search and rescue volunteers are a key part of the community and depend on community support for their survival.

    The Newfoundland and Labrador Search and Rescue Association is recognized nationally for it’s high level of training, expertise, interoperability with the local policing agencies and level of professional services that they provide.

17. Allow donors to switch which currency they're donating in through PayPal Giving.

    The charity I'm donating to through a Twitch Charity stream is defaulting to Canadian dollars, but the organization's own website allows you to change currencies. It would be nice to be able to donate without the conversion fee and somehow have it contribute to the stream's goal.

20. Allow donations to endangered animal charities like the ʻAlalā Project

    I would like to see more charities listed to support endangered animals like the ʻAlalā Project to allow animal lovers like myself to support what we love. Animals. They didn't choose to be endangered, and most of the time it's because of us humans. They deserve to be supported and advocated for through the Twitch platform.
