Allow donations to non-US charities
I have seen many automated replies about charities that have requested to be added with a comment of "At this time, the charity tool is fully integrated with the PayPal Giving Fund; so if your charity is registered there, you can already find it to start a fundraising campaign"
However, many charities that are already in the PayPal Giving Fund do not appear in Twitch's charity list - a request I logged provided this as an example.
Can someone from Twitch confirm that you have restricted this to ONLY charities based in the US? This question does not seem to have been addressed, and would appreciate confirmation that this is the issue rather than a boilerplate reply that does not address the issue we are seeing.

I understand your frustration with the current limitations regarding Twitch's charity tool. It does seem like there is some confusion about the availability of non-US charities on the platform.
From what you’ve described, it appears that even though some charities are registered with the PayPal Giving Fund, like https://8171-ehsaas-program-25000-bisp.pk/, they may not show up in Twitch’s charity list. This could indeed indicate a restriction to US-based charities.
To get a definitive answer, I would recommend reaching out directly to Twitch Support. This can be done through their official support channels or forums where staff can provide clarification.
Additionally, it might be helpful to create or support an existing feature request in Twitch’s UserVoice, if one exists, or start a new one if it doesn’t. This will help bring more visibility to the issue and potentially expedite a resolution.

I support the request to allow donations to non-US charities. In fact, I would love to see something where we can also get some ad-hoc options like we have now with the big earthquake in Morocco. I would love to do a stream for that, but it is hard to find a trustworthy donation site or something like it. Don't want to raise money and see it go to waste on some mallicious company/site. You could regulate this and promote these fundraisers when events occur.

I'm still trying to run a fundraiser for a New Zealand charity. New Zealand is not even on the list of available countries to do this for. The Twitch comment elsewhere about any charity within PayPal Giving being available isn't available in New Zealand.
I don't understand how Australia can be included but New Zealand can't. -

Hey twitch people, was just wondering if there was a possibility to open up the charity options to be more than just in the USA? Not that I wouldn't run a charity stream for one in the USA, it's just as a Canadian, it makes the most sense for me too support a Canadian organization. One I'd most likely be supporting is the Ontario Association Of The Deaf and The Kidney Foundation Of Canada. The reason I ask is because, my four year old son is deaf and also has chronic kidney disease, so both of these organizations hold a special place to me and my family.
Thank you for your time,

Since Twitch is a world wide platform I would suggest non US charities be added for the likes of the UK and other European countries that show a large demographic of content creators/users of the twitch platform. Those countries native viewer base tends to gravitate towards local/national content creators/ twitch stream users. so would make sense that they can support local/national/ international charities that are more personal to them. Example a local hospital or national awareness day/week or month, these should also include Twitch functions. I don't mean to demean any of the charities Twitch offers or the hard work they do for the fields/support they are making awareness for and/or funding they raise. I would like to see a wider spectrum of charities be added outside of the US with Twitch functions to help those around the world and those on our own doorstep.

I completely agree with this, every country has their own different organizations, some countries, Belgium are for instance might need more Mental health orginizations where other countries might be dealing more with poverty issues, and it's important that AT LEAST the organisations dealing with the Core Problematics are added into the list
And even if it's not for each nation, at least add some International - European - Asian - African or whatever regional organization with multiple different holdings in different nations, to add those to the list

All of the charities available are US-based. It might be worth branching out since Twitch is used worldwide.
We'll be fundraising for the NSPCC but can't use the Twitch functions for it as it's a UK based charity.
