Why not create a points store like Steam's, with profile customization, animated profiles, custom profile previews, and emote packs?

The Steam community seems to have a lot of fun with the points store, where they can buy and showcase artwork from their favorite games on their private profiles. I think this could be a great way for Twitch to improve monetization, such as increasing Gift subs by hosting an event with 2x more points to spend on exclusive customizables for a limited time. This would increase community engagement with certain types of in-app purchases, as users would receive a global reward that everyone could see, rather than just a closed community.

Partnerships could be made with developers and even community artists to create exclusive content for the store, which the community could purchase and display on all channels in the form of profile previews, exclusive emotes, badges, and more.
