layout
The experimental viewer layout is an unnecessary change and creates a visually confusing experience. The viewer count and timer moving above the video player is one thing, but the title should remain below the video screen. This change makes everything look extremely cramped and I could not see this being a worth while change in any capacity. Website layout is one of the most important aspects of retaining your users, and if I opened Twitch for the very first time and saw this layout I would click off immediately.

I didn't spot the title and such at first and thought it just didn't load well, refreshed a couple of times before realising of the change, wonder how many people will go through the exact same thing lol.
Yea I would like to hear the reasoning for this change, it doesn't seem very sensical as of now for me.

I found it incredibly frustrating, At first I thought it was a new feature that was on automatically and was searching through menus trying to turn it off.

I, as well, though my browser was glitching. Tried refresh or deleting cookies and cache would do the trick. Only to find out it's the actual layout now (new or experimental...). After so many years of having the same thing, why change it to the top?
The worst part is, the website layout looks more clutters and confusing for both new and current viewers.

I originally thought my browser was glitching. Twitch should put a "legacy view" option in account settings.
*fix*
Open FFZ "experimental" section
Find "web_channel_metadata_layout"
Change to "control" in drop menu on right
