Localization Program Manager, Seattle
I received an email today from a "no-reply" account, and my idea essentially is, your Careers/HR team should try harder. Not once was i contacted and i have an extensive resume of related experience. If I weren't qualified, then I would have expected a response from HR along these lines. Instead, my application...which was submitted weeks and weeks ago, I don't even remember when...just sat around as far as I'm aware. That is incredibly frustrating to the unemployed public, especially those of us who believe that we could be a benefit for your company to hire. I hope that this pattern is modified in the future so that some unknown number of people are not left wondering like myself, "...what just happened?"
Was this posted in the guise of looking legit, but was actually just the legal obligation for an internal hire? That's a shady and common practice.
