Private stream session
I think it would be good to implement such a feature as private stream sessions. You could literally stream on "invite-only-mode" that can be used for subscriber stream or if you wanna stream something for only people you want.
Would also work if you wanna show something to your team or when it comes to schoolwork. Companies could literally do their meetings on Twitch.

Since most people, especially Musicians, usually stream to a separate, unknown channel, to run Soundcheck over an actual stream, it would be nice to have a feature to stream privately to Mods or other selected candidates before pushing the stream to everybody to help sort things out before stream with all of Twitch's audio settings and controls. Sort of like 'Subscriber Streams', but maybe an actual feature in your Creator Dashboard to stream to a particular individual without it being considered an actual stream. Maybe a backstage option, like Guest Star, but for Mods to view the actual stream?

Make an option so that a streamer could go live privately with a link so streamer and his mods could join. This way people could set up an edit there audio and bit sounds and everything else they need to set up for their stream without actually going live and doing it with viewers.

In the secret stream only certain people can watch it, similar to what you do with sub only, but in this case you can choose several options. Example:
Time limited link, where if you click that link in less than x time after the posting you can watch,
Invite, personal unique invite link,
Multi use Invite link. And most importantly:
Game Partners.
Interested gaming companies can use some method (apk maybe?) to do ingame verification, and allow people that pass that verification to access the stream, the use for this one is immense since now, for example, for someone that has a clan that is going to war with another clan, they can't stream due to possible spies but now you can if you setup your stream to only be able to be seen from people that are your allies it is now a more "secure" stream, that is only one of the possibilities. And now you throw them on the front page for a month, if the Secret Stream meets some criteria, (using ingame verification, and can be joined by large number of people) and it will now allow many people that not only would not normally stream in those circumstances, but also people that dont watch streams, since this method can be easily used to coordinate large numbers of people, and give them a visual aid, unlike discord that would only have voice and ten people maximum streams.
Thanks for reading it all.

There are many people out there who want to be able to test their streams without having to really "Go Live". Many want to see the quality of their streams on their phone, computers, etc before being public. Unstable internet connection? Trying something new?
Of course, unless you have already hit Affiliate, going live to see how your stream looks can affect your numbers to hit Affiliate status.
Unless I'm blind looking somewhere, there should be an option where you can stream through Twitch but only you can see it. Meaning, you "Go Live" through your own account. Whichever device is logged into your Twitch account allows you to view how your stream will be when you go live publicly.
Just like ***** streams, they will be privately saved VODs that you can save and review so you can look back and make any adjustments to improve your stream quality in the future.
Again, doing this too will not affect avg viewer counts as well as days/time streamed. This is merely a way for streamers to test their streams privately to themselves to see how well their quality is to be ready for a public stream.

Not trying to be a douche but isn't the whole point in streaming to be made public for doing the things you like?

To encourage people to start streaming, and as this new idea might be first daunting for them. I really think it would be a good idea and would encourage more people to stream, if you could add a button in settings for you to be able to private stream to whoever you wanted to. This in turn would make new users more comfortable. Obviously for this I'm sure you would need a subsection within this button to add the usernames that you wanted to privately stream to. It's just that I have had many people ask me about this as I stream myself. It's just an idea really, as I'm sure in your main competitors platform this can be achieved.

This is a good idea for things like private events. People who can't come will be able to watch a private stream instead!

It would be really helpful to be able to have a private stream option where only the host and mods can see so that you can "go live" and work out any audio issues, or new features that you're attempting to implement. This would allow me to open the 'viewer window' and see what it looks like without airing my tests.

You can make a channel for subscribers only (i think) - if you do not promote it publicly, you can filter your audience that way while charging them (at a fixed-rate)

I personally want to do this myself for photo editing.
I take photos of a group of friends playing Ultimate and spend around 6 hours editing them all for Facebook.
I want to protect the people I took pictures of but I also want them to be able to watch my edit them if they so choose. -

Local recordings do not help in any way to test network connectivity issues, so a feature like this would be useful.
