There are many people out there who want to be able to test their streams without having to really "Go Live". Many want to see the quality of their streams on their phone, computers, etc before being public. Unstable internet connection? Trying something new?

Of course, unless you have already hit Affiliate, going live to see how your stream looks can affect your numbers to hit Affiliate status.

Unless I'm blind looking somewhere, there should be an option where you can stream through Twitch but only you can see it. Meaning, you "Go Live" through your own account. Whichever device is logged into your Twitch account allows you to view how your stream will be when you go live publicly.

Just like ***** streams, they will be privately saved VODs that you can save and review so you can look back and make any adjustments to improve your stream quality in the future.

Again, doing this too will not affect avg viewer counts as well as days/time streamed. This is merely a way for streamers to test their streams privately to themselves to see how well their quality is to be ready for a public stream.
