Unlock each emote as the level is beaten rather than the highest emote from the train.
Right now if you complete a level 100 Hype Train you will only get KappaInfinite instead of getting BleedPurpleHD, HeyHeyGuys, and PogChomp as well. This leads viewers to feel like they are ripped off because this generally isn't how game progression works.
When we beat a level we expect a reward from that level to be unlocked. We do not expect that reward to be overwritten by a higher level forcing us to have to do it again to unlock the lower tier reward. This is a normal tenet of game design and should apply to Hype Train rewards as well.

For about a week or two I was expecting to get both BleedPurpleHD and HeyHeyGuys only to learn that apparently I wasn't getting them and on top of that my PogChomp was a mistake somehow, lol. Felt pretty bad so I support this idea

I think this is well spoken. If you are getting multiple emotes from the higher level trains it encourages everyone to add to the train to unlock them all. If any of the lower tier emotes are "cooler" it sucks to loose it because a hype train got more speed

Unlocking each emote as we reach that goal make the chat, and the streamer feel like they earned something. I don't like the 'only unlock the one emote from the highest tier.'

This is how it should work. We are mostly gamers and expect gamer type progression

I agree, it is frustrating not to have been given all the rewards across a hype train. It feels illogical and I think many of us would prefer to recieve every emote as the level is unlocked. It feels like the earlier levels are worthless and its just focused on the final one.

Having spent hard-earned money and logging in every time that I could because I was working makes things feel ****** missing out on rewards. It takes the fun out of participating in major events.

Very much agree. The current model strongly de-incentivizes "playing the game" of hype trains. Viewer support is crucial to stream success, so suppressing rewards deflates the experience for all

It feels unfair. It is unfair. The fact that bugs have allowed for some to benefit while many others went without rewards is reprehensible. The expectation was that we would be rewarded for every step, every level we met. It was never made clear that there was to be only one emote for the entire hype train, leaving a bad taste in the mouths of many viewers.

Happily was part of the first level 100+ train and got all of the emotes.
Not getting the previously completed emote levels would feel like a cheat of an accomplishment. -

When the community puts in the hard work of pushing the hypetrain beyond what is normally possible, it doesn't feel good when you find out you suddenly are not receiving all the rewards you are expecting.
The also makes it very difficult to unlock the lower tiers of hypeTrain rewards when participating in hypeTrains of larger streamers. This actually makes me not want to join in on a hypeTrain more than it makes me. It feels like a greedy move which makes it feel bad overall. Please change this.

I agree with this. Award structures should be accumalative instead of end tier reached. This reward system doesn't feel good when the reward tier is not a solo experience. Having to rely on others to land in the correct bracket for you, means some percentage of users will be disappointed on each hype train.

this had always confused me, why would you punish those streamers and chats who get higher level hype trains by limiting their reward? it incentivises lower level, recurring hype trains to attempt to get the emote rewards from each level which doesnt feel rewarding, but more so a grind-fest.

I second this, it feels weird to go through a level progression system like this and then only get some of the rewards rather than all of them.

I know that for myself, as well as from what I think I've observed from others' words, that there's a sense of being left out when a community achieves something together but rewards are given out unevenly. It shouldn't be any more complicated than "you all achieved this, you all get the rewards", which is only fair. Anything else results in disappointment and reduced interaction.

I totaly agree with this. I had only 2 of the emotes listed above.

The current Hype Train emote unlock system, as described, is akin to a BattlePass with unique rewards in a game where you're only allowed to receive the rewards for the last tier of the Pass that you unlock.

Consider also, how collaborative twitch communities tend to be. I understand that Twitch wants people to push these hype trains several times, but we as players of the game that is Twitch like to help other people get the cool things we've already gotten. So when we see another 4000 people in chat that weren't a part of the first train, we want to start another to help those new people get it too.
So ultimately I don't think it'll cost Twitch anything to give us all these emotes, and it would improve player perception, improving the odds of pushing to higher hype trains, because negative player perception of having these accomplishments taken away because we were "too good" will disincentivise people continue engaging in the hype train because of the sour taste in their mouths.

I totally agree that this is the expected behavior.
I was part of the record, and, unfortunately, I got no emotes. However, I feel that those that got should have all the conquered emotes.

As someone who participated in this hype train it feels bad that i may not get all of the emotes. I do not have a lot of money but i decided to participate in the stream to be a part of twitch's history. And i expected that for my support that i would have all of those emotes available to me. please fix this
