Include Gift Subs in the Partner Plus program
The Partner Plus program is a great step in the right direction for creators on Twitch and I am grateful for the opportunity for a 70/30 split.
However, this program should include gift subscriptions.
The requirement of “a sub count of at least 350 recurring paid subscriptions for three consecutive months” is only achievable for a small percentage of streamers, even those with a high CCV that qualifies them to be in the top 1% of the platform. It is not only difficult to achieve for even those dedicated to Twitch, but having this requirement may even discourage gift subscriptions in communities because being gifted a subscription could take away the possibility of somebody subscribing on their own. To continue to increase revenue for both content creators and Twitch itself, it is essential to encourage gift subscriptions.
I believe there are multiple solutions that could be discussed to allow gift subscriptions to count in the Partner Plus program while still being beneficial for all of us:
1) Include gift subscriptions in the 350 sub requirement
2) Add an additional requirement of 350 recurring paid subscriptions OR 500+ gift subs (or any other number deemed profitable/reliable, I just put 500 as a basepoint suggestion)
3) Extend the requirement for gift subs, example: 350 recurring paid subscriptions over three consecutive months OR 350 consistent gift subscriptions over six consecutive months
So many of us have stayed dedicated to Twitch and prioritized subscriptions as our main source of revenue (me included). Now more than ever, encouraging gift subscriptions is essential for success for us all.

I'm voting yes on this, but more to have gifted subs be a fraction of a "unique sub" toward this count.
Plenty of channels have "whales" that don't mind gifting SEVERAL subs to support the streamer, but if gifted subs outright counted toward the 350 requirement, this can give one or two whales a push to gift more, to *directly* affect Twitch's split. That doesn't seem fair to Twitch (in a vacuum, anyway).
Gifted subs being a fraction mean that the gifters would already be fronting their own subs being 70/30 split, in a way, so that Twitch doesn't lose money. I'm not sure if I worded this well, but I could totally get behind gifted subs counting toward a requirement in some way.

All subs matter since no matter what, both twitch and the streamers get a cut. It's already bad enough gift subs are cut in half for revenue, why even bother excluding it from the program. It baffles me

Absolutely - the fact they even thought to exclude gifted subs just shows their twisted, miserable, penny pinching nature

It would be tragic for Twitch’s bottom line to discourage gifted subs.

This is such a great addition and one of my main complaints on this new program. Hopefully Twitch hears us out.

Twitch only caters to the big streamers.
The rest of us are just a number they don't care about.

Quite simply, more creators should be able to hit 70/30 splits, and removing twitch prime and gift subs from the equation will not only make realizing how close you are/aren't way more confusing, but only help out a tiny portion of streamers.

Gifted subs should count!

Gift3d subs and prime subs should count just like our lurkers should count. We are still fighting for issues that haven't been fixed from years ago. Please hear us I. This one. Your pushing so many creators away from this site instead of helping us ultimately help youm

Gifted subs make a HUGE difference. They should absolutely be included, even if the metrics for them are different from the recurring subs.

This really should be included. The gifted subs are the backbone and really help streamers keep going. It is the generous community that makes a difference. Please reconsider and make gifted a part of your program.

They should also include the T1/T2/T3 info into this, they already have sub points they can utilize as a metric.

Gifted subscriptions are one of the most beloved tools for building communities and financially work the same as an ongoing paid sub on a per month basis for streamer revenue. The new Partner Plus guidelines would discourage that while also disqualifying people with organically generous communities who gift subs regularly.

Ridiculous. If twitch doesn't include them then they shouldn't get a cut out of them. But they do.

Not including gifted subs or tier 2/3 subs simply encourages people to make dozens more accounts to support their favorite streamers, which is an absurd position to be in.
Gift subs need to count just the same as regular subs, and tier 2/3 need to count for 2 and 5 subs respectively to match their price!

Gifted subs are as valid as reoccurring subs. This is a way for supporters to not only support but also lend a hand in growth. I've seen plenty of times where a person came to the live stream because they received a notification for a gifted sub. It's money spent either way and Twitch benefits from it just as they would a reoccurring sub. Give the creators the chance to also reap that benefit by counting it towards the requirement. Lastly, include prime subs as well that is of no fault to the creator that a supporter uses that as a form to support. If you must add a secondary layer to that so be it but count them.

Twitch built gifting as a tool for us to further monetize, and then punishes creators for using it by not having it count towards key milestones that shape their career. How can you give us tools and then expect us not to use them?
Similarly to 'raiding doesn't count towards view avg for partner app', this is a tough spot to be in. While it makes sense that Twitch would only want guaranteed renewals to count, there's really no reason that maintaining 350 total non-prime subs for three months straight wouldn't be a good metric for Partner+, even if some proportion of those are different gifts.
Perhaps make it so that you can't have 100% gifted subs? Then you bypass the 'people buying themselves subs' system?

Gifted subs are as valid as regular subs, if not more so because that is someone else enjoying and believing in your content so much that they want to encourage others to enjoy it too.
Additionally, it's time for Twitch to start truly putting ALL of their creators first, not just the top earners in an attempt to keep them on the platform every time Twitch makes a poor decision.

Gift subs are the backbone of the Twitch ecosystem and they should be valued equal to if not more than recurring subs. A lot of those gifts turn into recurring long term subscribers and an increased feel of community.

Would not feel right, to have gifted subs be worth much less.
Encourages creating additional Accounts/persona's even more to Sub instead of gifting
