    Gifted subs are as valid as reoccurring subs. This is a way for supporters to not only support but also lend a hand in growth. I've seen plenty of times where a person came to the live stream because they received a notification for a gifted sub. It's money spent either way and Twitch benefits from it just as they would a reoccurring sub. Give the creators the chance to also reap that benefit by counting it towards the requirement. Lastly, include prime subs as well that is of no fault to the creator that a supporter uses that as a form to support. If you must add a secondary layer to that so be it but count them.

    There are much more harmful things on the platform. If a streamer states their channel is 18+ a booty emote is not offensive. Focus on protecting people from the hate raids that are still happening.
