Maybe people can pick a new Twitch emote to unlock each month they sub at Tier 3

I'm sorry, but as for an economical perspective and based on what people watching (chat) actually do, this is just not how it would work in the real world.

As a concept the idea is great and has a lot of value behind in, but this is just theory - and the theory has a flaw, which is the fact that lower sums encurages the viewer to buy-/gift subs.

Pushing to get people to consider tier 2 and-/or tier 3 is just a far stretch.

Try to focus a little more on the tier 1 subs and how that is just being increased in cost and reflect some form of "actual user beneficial changes" as well before you start to focus on tier 2 and 3.

All of this is stuff people can add with web apps and outside of twitch, if anything like this is ever going to work you need to do something unique and fresh, not of these things is either of that.

If Twitch were to simply activate a feature for 'Tier 2+/3 sub-mode only' chat, that alone would inspire far more tier 2 and 3 subscriptions, and give larger streamers better interactivability with chat for short amounts of time when general chat becomes rowdy and/or unreadable.

A great idea, highly doubt Twitch would give a turbo sub or 500 bits when they only receive $7.50 from a tier 3 sub but everything else looks great they really need to offer more for the higher tiers.

Since having Amazon Prime gives you a "free" Tier 1 Sub...what about subbing to anyone at Tier 3 giving you access to an extended trial of Amazon Prime for a limited time? Or maybe the choice between Turbo and Prime? 500 bits a month is a great option as well.

I agree with this for sure. It would be great if Twitch could add more native first party perks for subbing at a higher tier. I would like to add that they should consider more animated emote slots, there could be some kind of image or video feed that is only accessible to these tiers as a part of the channel page (think like a community tab that shows photos or videos to subscribers at this level). Turbo for a month at tier 3 would be awesome. Could there some kind of game functionality that are only accessed if subbed at tier 2 or higher? Something needs to be added!

I agree, tier 2 and 3 subs should be more prominent in the chatbox compared to the other subs (sub prime and tier 1 subs). Because a Sub tier 2 or 3 is synonymous with greater support for the streamer, so the viewer should be compensated for that. Leading other users to want to be sub tier 3, Twitch earned more from it and the streamer too.
