Subscription reminder emails lack critical information: Channel Name!
Please mention the actual CHANNEL NAME that a subscription reminder email is talking about. Right now, there is no information in that email as to which channel the renewal is for, and so I end up having to waste time clicking through and trying to figure out which subscription is about to renew, in case it's one I want to stop. Also -- The subscriptions page needs to be able to be sorted different ways ("renewing soon", "alphabetical", "tier", etc) -- It's sometimes hard to find which subscription the email is referring to.
Please just include the actual channel name in the email - this would make life a lot easier! :)

Hey everyone - I am very happy to announce that all Subscription emails should now contain the associated channel name in them!
Thank you all so much for your feedback, and please don't hesitate to continue to leave us suggestions on UserVoice in the future.
Have a good day!

Add the name of the channel that the subscription was cancelled for. That way if it was done on accident, or we change our mind, we can easily go back and renew the sub

Agree that this is a particularly frustrating bug - both on subscription renewal and cancellation emails.

When our subscriptions expire, we receive an email, notifying us that a subscription has been canceled. That's great! However, it does not list the channel, so we have to hunt through our subscriptions, or expired subscriptions, to determine which one ended, so that we can choose if we want to renew it, or leave it expired.
On those notification emails, please include the related channel. -

The "Your Subscription Will be renewing soon" emails for multi-month subscriptions don't indicate which channel the subscription is for in the email.
I propose something similar to the purchase receipts that actually provide that information! -

Twitch started sending out emails notifying you when a subscription is about to be renewed automatically, which is great. The problem is it only states that it is a subscription, the renewal date and the amount. Including the channel the subscription is to is such an obvious thing, but has been neglected. This should really be added for the emails to not be almost entirely useless.

I've got 7 active + 22 expired subscriptions. It is not very helpful, when you send emails about expiring or auto renewal subscriptions, if there is no channel name to be found. Please just include the channel name into these mails.

We currently get warning emails telling us that we are about to resub to a streamer.
This is really good, but it just tells us "Tier 1 - 1 Month Subscription" and not who its for... We have to log in, check out our subs to figure out who it is.
Can we get "<streamer name> Tier X Sub - X Month Subscription" instead?
Thanks!

If you cancel a subscription, you get an email notification of that. But, in said email, it is not stated of which streamer the subscription was. Might be useful to put that in the mail.

Actually we receive emails if a subscription expires, renews etc.
However, these emails do not name the related channel name.Examples in German, but even if you don't understand German, you can clearly see that there's no channel mentioned:
https://prnt.sc/1wyrfeb (expiration)
https://prnt.sc/1wyrh9v (renewal)The invoice email does contain the related channel name:
https://prnt.sc/1wyrm59It would be really helpful, if the related channel would be mentioned in every email regarding subscription.

I got a mail telling me that my subscription will be renewed shortly but there is a problem with that. The mail does not state WHAT subscription it is.
Can you please add the streamers name to that mail so i do not have to look it up? -

I am not that deep into lawsuits, but I find it absolutely possible that in some countries with a strong lawyer you could achieve a refund based on this missing information.
This E-Mail (somewhat) serves as a receipt, that shows "what product" you have "purchased" - or in that case: Which streamer you have subscribed to. When I was working as a retail sales assistant, I learned in the training that this information is by lawsuit a must, otherwise the officials could accuse you of selling non-existant products or services that are illegal. Furthermore, customers would theoretically have the right to get a lawyer when you don't accept a refund for that.
However it may or may not be by law: It doesn't seem particularly trustworthy if I was new to Twitch.

This seems like such a critical piece of information. I was mind-blown when started subscribing to channels on Twitch and realised the renewal notification email lacked the most important bit - name of the channel the sub renewal is for. I've at best had like 20 subs at the same time, getting these emails every few days without knowing what it's for.. Bothersome.
Twitch, pls.

This is so frustrating and the emails are completely useless to me. There is also no way to turn off these emails. This is the exact same for the 'subscription has been cancelled' emails btw

I receive one or two of these emails each month, as I'm currently subscribed to 2 channels via the twitch.tv site.
Subject: Your Subscription Will Be Renewing Soon
Then in the table below:
Renewal Date: 19 Oct 2021
Description: Tier 1 - 1 Month Subscription - AU
Amount: A$7.99Nowhere does it say WHOM this subscription is for! I can only tell by looking up my subscriptions list and comparing the date and amount for each subscribed channel. If I had more than a couple of subscribed channels, as I'm sure many users do, this would be a nightmare.
The channel name should be a key feature of this email.

I literally just got an email about a multi-month sub that "will be renewing soon" but I have absolutely no clue which channel it's to! This needs to be fixed!
Not to mention, I can't sort my subscription list, and there isn't any way on that page to clearly identify which ones are multi-month and which are single month subs. It should also show you very clearly which ones are ending or renewing soon, like a bright warning text or something.

Yes, this has been bothering me for a while, I've subbed to a bunch of channels and when I get the email, its just 25% of how useful that email should be...
-
Gnare commented
I'm classifying this as a "bug", since it makes the notification emails less-than-useful, and would be an extremely easy thing to fix!
The problem is that subscription reminder emails do not mention the channel name in them! I have many subscriptions, and trying to find the one that is about to renew is almost impossible. (Related issue: I can't sort my channel subscriptions page!)
Please just include the channel name in these reminder emails, thanks!
