Wasn’t aware paid subs had “Free Previews”
I get very tired of the Apple TV app telling me that my free preview has ended for channels I’ve paid to sub.
Happens most times when we go into the app, then into the channel, after having watched the channel the previous night.
If you exit the stream, open another one, and then go back, the error is gone.
At least change the wording on the error... my goodness, I’ve subbed them for 11 months. It’s not my free anything, lol, at that point.
It’d be really cool if it said, hey the session has expired please refresh, because the first time it happened I was mad and confused until I figured out how to “refresh it.”
I’m sure this is an odd situation because we watch one specific stream pretty much every night. It doesn’t happen when switching streams (watching different ones I guess?), and does not happen on the iOS App or Desktop as far as I know. Only on the Apple TV. It’s the 4th gen but without the 4K. Happens on multiple Apple TVs (same model both WiFi) but on the same account of course.
I really don’t care that the error occurs it’s easy to fix. Please please change the wording so it says how to fix it.
Again you gotta open a different stream (or at least it’s live preview) and then go back.
