1. Pickin a Collor / Special Collors Shiny Textures for Twitch Turbo users

   You guys could make the person nickname collor selection easier to find, and something more special and put special textures for Twitch Turbo users.. Like what Discord does with their Nitro option... They give the option to put a special shiny background for discord, with shiny light effects... that makes people want to sign up their service... Twitch Nitro should have something special like that, that would make people feel special in the Chats, that way everyone will want to sign up Twitch Nitro.

2. Treat your Guinea pigs better!

   Scamming a whole community on an event without revealing the event before hand. There was a lot of people who donated a ridiculous amount of money to the hype train event that happened in AdmiralBahroos stream. Just to find out the NEXT DAY you changed the rules to hype train emotes. You scammed 7000+ people on the hype train. That scam left such a bad taste that i am going to remove my twitch turbo and not subscribe to another channel. This was my final straw with this website and the constant rule changes. Now when this turbo expires and i see 7+ ads. I'm done with twitch.

4. Limit viewer access to chat while watching Advertisements

   Often channels are hit by viewers who are currently being shown video Ads such as Prerolls, or during a commercial break sending complaints to the chat about ads they are currently watching - which disrupts the flow of conversation in the chat, and the experience for viewers who are not currently watching ads.

   The suggestion is to take away the option for users to type messages into chat while preroll advertisements are still being shown.

   And give channels an optional setting to limit the ability to Chat to Ad-Free users (Turbo Users and Subscribers) And VIPs/Moderators which would be applied during Commercial breaks.

7. Dealing with people that spoil

   Like many streamers, I've dealt with people coming into my stream with the sole intention of spoiling the game that I'm playing. My most recent incident was yesterday and it got me thinking about how to try and prevent this. I think I've come up with a three step process that is logistically doable because the general idea of the systems are already in place. I honestly don't expect this to be implemented but I figured I'd post it anyway.

   First you'd have to report sed user for spoiling. This is the easiest but also most cumbersome step because it requires Twitch staff to physically check each case. Luckily the system to prove that someone posted a spoiler is in place: Chat Replay. The person reporting would have to provide a link to the VOD and the time at which the spoiler was posted.

   Second, after it is confirmed that a user posted a spoiler, that person is given the class of Spoiler. What I mean by that is, much like users can be Subscribers or Twitch Turbo users, the user is tagged (whether publicly or just in the code) as a Spoiler. This is the most important step because …

   Step three is allowing a setting that prevents people tagged as Spoilers from chatting in your channel. My thought process is that it'd work the opposite of 'Sub-only mode' or the same as preventing people without verified email from chatting.

   My idea seems sound to me, but it of course requires manual intervention from Twitch staff and is completely subjective. I've personally had a bunch of people post minor spoilers accidentally and would only use this for someone like the guy yesterday who came in, posted the major spoiler, and then said “loooooool.” Other users may use this feature more liberally and potentially cause a bunch of people to be tagged as Spoilers. Yes people can still create new accounts and spoil again, but I think this would at least help prevent a few streamers from having games intentionally spoiled.

8. Invitation mode

   1. Introduction
      Hello, my name is Erik and I have been watching on and off for about 2 years now. Lately, seeing how much twitch have grown, I have come up with an idea.

   2. Background
      Twitch is becoming bigger and bigger and there is a lot of broadcasters that have a lot of subscribers in their channels. Two years ago, entering subscribers-only mode would almost without a doubt kill spam from any channel.

   But today is not two years ago, a lot of broadcasters have a lot of subscribers. Sometimes, even subscribers-only mode can be a lot of spam and bring annoyance to the broadcaster.

   1. Idea Introducing invitation mode, a mode where specific users, who is invited by the broadcaster's moderators can talk with other invited users.

   3.1 Example of users who are invited by default
   These are the users who can talk in the channel.
   a) Twitch's staff, Twitch's administrators, Twitch's global moderators, broadcaster's moderators and finally the broadcaster itself. Per default.

   b) Invited channel subscribers and invited viewers.

   So to clarify, these people can talk in this channel by default
   a) Twitch's staff (wrench icon), Twitch's administrators (shield icon), Twitch's global moderators (axe icon), broadcaster's moderators (sword icon) and finally the broadcaster (camera icon) itself.

   These are the people who cannot talk in this channel by default
   a) Channel subscriber, channel viewer and Turbo viewer.

   1. Why is this idea good?
      Any broadcaster, regardless of size, should be be able to control how their chat works. If the broadcaster which has a lot of subscribers has a lot of toxicity and unwanted comments in their subscribers-only chat and wishes for a bit more of a controlled environment, the broadcaster should be able to have a chat room filled with their desired community members.
      Same can be said for a chatroom with a smaller portion of daily viewers. For example, a users has won a giveaway and should provide a link with the broadcaster's moderators, that person could be invited to this mode and have a regular conversation with the present moderators.

   2. Conclusion
      This idea could of course have a bit of finalizing touches but the basic principle is there. A broadcaster, its moderators and twitch staff should be able to control a chat room. This gives more options rather than just entering subscribers-only mode.

   3. Bonus (trivia, not sure what to call this)
      This mode could be activated by any of the Twitch's staff, Twitch's administrators, Twitch's global moderators, broadcaster's moderators or the broadcaster by the command /invitational, just like /subscribers for subscribers-only mode.
      Same mode can be de-activated by any of the users written in the past sentence with the same command.
