FIX EXCESSIVE CODE VERIFICATION BUG (& admit your employee lied)
Back in May of 2020 @sehmerschoo shared this post:

A VERY reasonable & much needed request! However, your employee @mouse (hopefully FORMER employee, as her profile went 404) decided to not only DECLINE his request, but went on to BLATANTLY LIE to us all on Twitch's behalf:
"You will only receive a new device verification email if you are using a difference device, use incognito, frequently clear your cache. Otherwise, this is a security feature meant to keep your account safe. The only other option is to enable 2FA on your account."

Now. I can tell you from PERSONAL EXPERIENCE (& can point to EVERY LAST COMMENT on that post for further confirmation), that LITERALLY every SINGLE time I try to use Twitch on my desktop browser, your site claims I'm "using a new device" and DEMANDS I waste my **** time to get a new f*****g verification code!!!
This is UNACCEPTABLE. Period. Your own lying employee claimed that ISN"T intended (though she also claimed it isn't happening), so it's OBVIOUSLY a bug. A VERY COMMON & VERY ANNOYING BUG THAT NEEDED TO BE FIXED NEARLY 4+ YEARS AGO NOW!!!
Twitch, I humbly ask that you get your s**t together, put on your big corpo pants, and do the following IN. THIS. ORDER:
[1.] Admit your employee lied (or at the very least was "mistaken"), apologize for allowing it to happen & for not fixing this KNOWN ISSUE years ago.
[2.] FIX THIS F*****G ISSUE WITHIN THE NEXT MONTH (peferrably within a week as you've so royally screwed this up, but considering all the layoffs, maybe even a month is wishful thinking at this point...).
That's it! That's the only chance you have at fixing this issue & not hemorrhaging even more money in lost revenue due to your baffling decisions and flippant disrespect of the audience who's wallets are slowly closing to you more & more with each passing day.
