Allow All Partners to Request 3 Letter Usernames from Twitch Support
As it currently stands, Twitch Partners are not allowed to request Partner Support to change their alias to anything below 4 characters. I know that I along with multiple other Twitch Partners have ran into this issue when contacting Twitch support to try and remove extra numbers or special characters from our names. It has also been equally as frustrating for me and these other Twitch Partners when these name changes are continuing to be offered to the biggest Partners on the platform, but smaller or mid sized Partners are still rejected when they ask.
My suggestion is to allow Twitch Partner Support to help Twitch Partners in these situations so that they can change their alias's to have a minimum of 3 characters instead of the current 4+ requirement policy.

Just following up on this, nice to see that twitch has yet to do anything about this yet. disappointed yet not surprised in the slightest. twitch staff incompetence excels once again.

going on 1 year and 5 months since this post was submitted. you would think the least they could do is give us a genuine reason or some kind of insight as to why we can't or when we will have this ability. the lack of communication is disappointing but honestly completely expected at this point. After countless emails with support it makes sense that on this "uservoice" platform they also leave us completely in the dark. All we want is communication.

How about all users? The favoritism is very lame.

Completely agree. It is unfair the largest partnered streamers are able to negotiate a 3 letter name but it is not available to "normal" partnered streamers

Yea, I feel this shouldn't be limited to just big streamers to have gotten special attention from twitch, leaving the smaller streamers to be stuck with _ and all that

I agree, it shouldn’t just be big streamers given that.

Kinda stupid how it has only been offered to larger partners. Considering it has been offered, surely it's just a simple "change a value and be done with" kind of programming. So rejecting this for difficult programming just seems like not an excuse.

As someone who wishes strongly for a three-letter handle on Twitch I might be biased, but I genuinely can't think of a reason why three-letter names are reserved for only the most popular creators.
Agreed, wholeheartedly. Make three-letter names an option for all creators.

This idea is good and will give more freedom to creators also we are all equal so how come some get the privilege and not others— I have spoken
