Specific Game Notification

Make it possible to have a setting where you can choose specific games for a specific creator. When those creators goes into those specific game sections, get notified on phone and/or e-mail. If you follow multiple creators and you enjoy them playing certain games or if they choose to return to a game, for example roleplaying in GTA V, you will be notified instead of only being notified every time they go live.

I also want to use this feature for my website https://actfastmed.com/. So that whenever, I update any category the member of my website get the notification.

I follow a lot of streamers who stream long hours and change category regularly, sometimes I leave the stream when they are playing a game I'm not interested only to come back to a completely different game wishing I knew sooner.

So if there was a togglable notification where I could allow twitch to notify me when my favorite streams change category that would be great.

Allow for an opt-in-only, additional notification for each streamer you follow that is triggered when they switch games mid-stream.

Scenario: sometimes, a streamer you love is playing a game you just do not have any interest in, and other than manually/constantly checking, you have no way of knowing if or when they switch games to something you love or would have more interest in watching.

A button, maybe next to the game name (below the stream title) that you can press and have a few Options (drop down menu) to select from

for exampe : -> Remind/Notify me when Streamer changes game category
->Remind/Notify me when Streamer changes game to "(game)"

Please let me know what you think of this and why it may be a good or perhaps useless Idea in your Opinion

I think there should be an option on the notification system that notifies the user when a streamer they follow changes the game they're playing.

I think it could remain the same, but the follow age displays the first time you followed.

Viewers should be given a toggle button or a different notification setting that notifies them when a specific streamer switched stream categories. This advanced notification button should be specific to each channel, and should also have different options regarding how long they want to receive the notifications for.

Example of some of the options that should be offered:
-Notify me the next time this streamer switches stream categories
-Notify me every time this streamer switches stream categories
-Notify me when this streamer switches to (insert specific category here)

If viewers had the option to do this, it would greatly improve the twitch viewership experience and would give viewers more control and customizability, so that they don't need to worry about missing specific events, discussions, or gameplay.

I've been a daily twitch viewer for over 2 years, and I can say with certainty that this is a needed and welcomed feature.

Porém, pode ser que streamers abusem da ferramenta, então seria necessário um mecanismo que evitasse isso. Uma limitação no tempo entre troca de categorias resolveria o problema, mas prejudicaria alguns streamers de boa índole. Então pensei que os próprios usuários deveriam escolher ativar ou desativar as notificações extras. Ela seria desativada por padrão e também os usuários deveriam ser capazes de reportar possíveis abusos de notificações.
É uma idéia que precisa ser analisada pois muitas pessoas não gostam ou não têm interesse em certos jogos, então elas poderiam sair e entrar no canal com uma certeza de que não perderiam o conteúdo que mais almejam.
Todavia, isso é uma faca de dois gumes. Talvez isso afete a maneira de como vocês lucram com propagandas, pois o usuário poderia sair das lives e voltar apenas quando estivesse em um jogo que ele tem interesse, isso diminuiria a retenção das vizualizações. Contudo, a ferramenta também faria com que mais pessoas voltassem às transmissões e não esquecessem de que o streamer ainda está online (isso acontece comigo), então a ferramenta também aumentaria as vizualizações.
Por estes motivos é algo que deve ser bem analisado, mas espero que a ferramenta seja implementada.

Can we have a way to turn on notifications for when a channel we follow starts streaming under a certain category?

I follow a lot of channels that stream a variety of games and I think it would be a good idea to give viewers a way to get notified whenever any of the channels they follow start streaming their favorite games.

OMG YES. So many times a streamer starts with a game I don't like so I ignore it only to find out that they've changed to a game that I DO want to watch.

I love that we can follow categories now as it makes it much easier to find people playing specific games, but I'd love an option to get notifications when a stream goes live in a category we follow. For example, I follow all of the disgaea games and really like watching disgaea streams, but unless I'm constantly checking the following categories page I miss streamers that stream this game.

So I watch streamers that I'm not as interested in because I don't know that a streamer playing the game I want to watch is actually live.

Came here just to make this suggestion and I'm glad someone else thought of it before I ever did. Please add this!

setting individual Notification if Streamer Changes Game

I want an alarm when streamer changes into the category what I want to see.

I just want a game broadcast, but streamer usually starts with the IRL.

IRL is okay but... sometimes IRL is too long. I just want to see the game broadcast.

So I want some function that could be helpful not only streamer but also viewer.

first, I hope we can ban some category.
so if streamer turns on the broadcast with a banned category from the follower. then the message doesn't appear. or make us that we can check the category that I want to see.

second, if streamer changes into the category that isn't banned from the follower then alert us.

대부분 수다 타임이거나 수금 시간인데 스킵하고 게임 방송부터 보고싶습니다. 특정 카테고리로 방송 키면 알람 안 오게 설정 하는 기능 만들어주면 안됨? ㅠㅠ
