Live Notifications Without Following
There is already an option to follow and not receive live notifications, but what about having a system where you can get live notifications without following? Maybe you want try and follow when they are live or maybe give them a few moments before making the decision to show support by following. I think the option to receive live notifications without following would be a tool people would use. There are multiple times where I want to follow someone when they are live, but the problem is, I have no idea when they go live. Some people don't even have a schedule. Some people don't use Twitter to tweet when they go live. But maybe adding like a bookmark feature or something that would allow you to get live notifications without directly following the user. This would not be visble to anyone except the user who bookmarked it. Then when the time is right, and they want to show support, they can follow the user to represent their support. It would allow people to know exactly when the broadcaster goes live without needing to follow them at that moment in time.

I like following and showing the broadcaster support, but I often like to try and follow them when they are streaming or after watching them myself. I made a poll about shoutouts and follows, and the majority of who I gained responses from say they also like trying to follow people when they are live. If people are able to receive live notifications, then they can know when those people are live and then be able to know when they are live in order to then give them an actual follow.

Hey Demonic,
What about following is it that you do not want visible to the broadcaster or others? Following is a way to bookmark a broadcaster and get live notifications, and it is unlikely that we'd add another feature to duplicate this functionality. Every feature we add brings more complexity to Twitch and makes it harder for us to support all of our features. Thanks!
