New View Update is BAD This new update is bad. I feel like I am using the TickToc app, not the Twitch app. Please allow us to go back to the old view.
Seeing random streamers play games that I have no interest in, mixed in with streamers I want to watch is not enjoyable. I feel like I'm gambling with this new view. Am I going to get a person I want to watch or not? (Most of the time, NOT)

REVERT THE MOBILE APP, LISTEN TO YOUR USER BASE. The new twitch mobile update could possible go down as one of the most confusing and horrible changes ever, and the fact it made it through testing and is now being pushed shows how little twitch actually cares about its user base. Absolutely pathetic.

The App View Update Was Un-Needed and Un-Wanted The update to the mobile app was unnecessary. It has made seeing your followed streamers hard to find at a glance. Scrolling up and seeing random streamers that might be doing things you are not interested in is not my idea of a fun time.

Roll back latest update how this got past any testing i will never understand. users who are using twitch or youtube likely PREFER their layouts and content over something like tiktok. these are separate communities that mostly hate eachother, and do not want to see the platform that they use become similar to the platform they chose NOT to use. the new system is unintuitive and unresponsive, similar to the update that placed an extra overlay in between the toggles for "chat on the side" and "no chat." if I wanted to see chat over my stream I would be using youtube. I am…

Get rid of July 2024 mobile app UI changes The page is full of other people begging you to do this. There is a reason for that. The reason is this layout doesn't function properly and no one likes it.

Don’t update the UI The new UI is AIDS. Change it back to the way it was. Don’t fix something that is broke. And fire the people who thought they should update the UI

Get rid of the new UI and fire whoever came up with it Get rid of the new UI. It looks outright diabolical, we all hate it. Don't try and fix something that isn't broken.
Who thought it would be a good idea to add a UI that incorporates a swiping style format that aims to give you a dopamine rush into an app that is made for people who want to watch LIVE LONG FORM CONTENT. YOU'RE NOT TIKTOK I think you're company would be better off with people who didn't have two braincells both fighting for third place knocking around in their hollow skulls. I'm going back to YouTube live until…

stop making the app more difficult to navigate every change that’s been made to the app recently has made it harder and harder to find the streamers i follow and actually want to watch. when i open the app i don’t want some random stream to pop up that i have no interest in. i just wanna see the list of who i DO follow

Remove Autoplay, bring back home page miniplayer, remove full screen of streams/ clips in home page. Remove the autoplay feature/ full screen of a single stream in the home page. I want to be able to see everyone I'm following at a quick glance, not have a stream play as soon as I open the app. The button is inconvenient and slower than the old layout to actually figure out who I want to watch. Secondarily, bring back the mini-player in the home screen when I leave a stream and return to the home page. A lot of the time I just want to quickly browse other streams I'm following without interrupting the one I'm watching.…

Restore Followed Game Categories on the Mobile App. Currently, it’s impossible to check any game categories a user previously followed on the mobile app, which makes the entire feature practically redundant. We’re only able to view or browse categories sorted by “viewers high to low” or by “recommend to you” (which is often practically the same anyway and usually irrelevant to the games I already follow or watch).
Before the update, there was a list of all games you followed on the home page and it would show if any currently had livestreams happening and easy to browse with a quick tap. This was great for games with…

Revert UI changes The new UI is awful, it is not useful for what Twitch is supposed to be. I don't want to be immediately launched into a doom scroll of live streams - I can go to TikTok for that. Bring back the old homepage so I can actually see who I'm following, continue watching VODs and actually have the choice on what I want to watch.

Remove the new feed feature It's terrible. It doesn't help navigate through channels, I can't easily click to see who I want. Remove the feed entirely and just go back to having a list of followed channels.

Followed channel badly shown Before we were able to have a PREVIEW of our followed channels to see what they are doing. Now we only have a small button on top left corner that bring us to a list with no preview… I don’t want to open them all to see if they are doing something interesting. You should at least show the followed channel at the same place as the live channels or clips (btw we do not care about clips…) using the same interface with preview

Revert the recent update The UI for the mobile app was perfectly fine prior to the update, and the new "overhaul" makes the app utterly insufferable to use. You shouldn't be reccomended random streamers before the ones you follow, and you should be able to see all your followed channels' streams, including their names and thumbnails which the update completely lacks for absolutely no good reason, without needing to enter them one by one via a tiny, easily-missable dropdown menu in the corner. The new app is so fundamentally flawed that the only real fix would be to revert it entirely, so for the…

Please roll back the mobile app update. The newest mobile app update is horrendous. Please roll this garbage back. It doesn't fit your platform or the way people use it. I come here to watch the streamers I follow, not to scroll through endless random clips. I can't even scroll through my followed streamers without exiting the stream I'm currently watching anymore. Do better, please.

Do not automatically play streams when entering the app With the new update, as soon as I open the app video starts playing without my consent, and without any way to prevent this streaming. This is an issue for people on limited data plans, and for people who open the app for reasons other than watching a stream at that moment. Additionally, it could expose people to creators they are uncomfortable watching without their consent. There is already a toggle in the settings for muting streams on the home page scroll, add one for the home page autoplay.

Reverse the mobile update Whoever thought TikTok format for twitch livestreams was a good idea is possibly the dumbest person alive on this planet. And now all the areas people want to go the most in the app take more taps/are harder to get to? Who is testing this stuff????
Literally all the feedback on the mobile update feedback post is people hating the update, how did it get pushed to stable build for everyone with that sort of feedback, what is this system??????42 votes -
change it back Just change it back, it’s that easy because nobody asked for this. Also, change the app back on console too, all of your updates just makes everything worse I don’t even like using twitch anymore I might just uninstall
