Android app video playback speeds up after ad I've noticed the following thing on the Android app: when watching a video, an ad comes up (that's fine), but as soon as the ad's over, it cuts back to the video and the playback speed seems to be sped up slightly. It happened to me like 3 times now in the past week. Always the same issue.
Any thoughts?
Thanks.

Option to disable video previews in the "Following" list Please add the option to disable the video previews in the list of followed channels (added in a recent update). This "feature" only impedes my ability to browse my LONG list of followed channels, making the process of seeing who is online much more difficult and time-consuming. To be clear, I want text only, the way the list used to be. Please.
Upon updating the app, my immediate reaction was "this is annoying, I hate it; where is the option to revert this change?" However, combing through the options for the app does not appear to offer this option. Why…

The New Update Sucks there are a too many problem added by this new update and a ton of Quality of life features were removed that completly ruin the twitch mobile experience.
the change i find the most bothersome is the removal of opening up the app to the followed streamer list so you can see what your followed streamers are doing. The removal of this feature frustrates users who use the app in their daliy life and are now subjected to seeing streams they dont follow and may not like to see when they open up the app.

Go Back. Proving you're professional and care about your product will require you to swallow your pride and fix the mess you have just made by reverting to the previous version of the app.
This does not just look awful, it's unusable.
Where is the Continue watching tab? Why can't i just see a neat list of the streams of users i follow going on?
Why must it look like TikTok?You should have put your resources in fixing the apps numerous bugs.
Instead you invested resources in making sure your app isn't used at all.
I won't use this app until…31 votes -
Scrolling on the new app is frustrating On the new app: I want to scroll down through the Home tab and the Browse tab but it keeps taking me sideways instead (From Live to Clips or from Categories to Live Channels).
I have to swipe upwards multiple times for it to scroll down.
Also, scrolling upwards on Following Channels dismisses the panel instead of scrolling
Please fix, thanks

Auto Rotate Android Landscape While in fullscreen mode: allow the stream to go from landscape to landscape flipped without having the 'auto rotate' Android setting on.
The YouTube app works this way and I find myself missing it more than I expected when using the Twitch app.
In case the above isn't clear...
1. Auto rotate is off
2. Full screen stream
3. Orient device to landscape
4. Rotate device 180° (flipped landscape)
5. Stream also rotates 180°29 votes -
The new app on Android is awful. I absolutely despise the new version of the app that my phone updated to yesterday. It's not at all easy to navigate and the fact you keep forcing a random stream on us, even though it may be someone we follow is super annoying. There was nothing wrong with the older version. Stop trying to make it like a social media site, it's terrible. You need to give us an option to use an older version without having to go through a third party.

Full Screen - Disable Overlay Buttons When viewing a stream in fullscreen (landscape) on mobile, there are overlay buttons that now block the stream. Please remove these from fullscreen mode, or add an option in the settings to disable them from appearing (no option exists right now). The point of viewing a steam in fullscreen is to watch the stream. The buttons clutter the video and are annoying. I do not want to see ANYTHING overlaying a stream when in fullscreen.

Listen to users, revert the update. Listen to your users. We are the one using it. And we hate it!
Stop trying to become tiktok or Instagram. You should be better than that. That's at least what we thought.
Revert the update.

The new app layout is not good. I will be using the old app until forced then I will be going to kick. The new app layout is not good. I will be using the old app until forced then I will be going to kick.

Don't overlay chat over video on landscape When using wide aspect phones in landscape, if you open the chat it overlays the video while there's still space to the left. A better solution is to move the video left while leaving the chat on the right, using the whole screen space. (Similar to what Google meet does when opening the chat)

Revert the "your live channels" tab changes The app wide preview window in the "your live channels" is horrible. Please revert it to the small window with text to the right
