App keeps pausing when in the background - issue has been persistent by over the last years. Confirmed with many other chatters. Infurtiatin
The app is randomly stopping streams when played in the background - it is not just live streams but any vods too.
First 20 minutes or so, everything works well, then every 2-5 minutes, stream/vod pauses. I have to manually press play again.
It is insanely infuriating - especially when watching someone with a good noise gate - did they stop speaking or did the stream pause?
I have confirmed this with many other chatters in other streamers chats so it is not isolated.
Im baffeled that this has been a thing for at least 2 years now and instead of a fix, we get an ad on the home page.
Sad.
Im actually starting to just look for re-streams on youtube when im not actively engaging with chat.
