Apple TV app buffering and lag

Apple TV app buffering with an ethernet connection. Ran speedtests on the same device and result is around 500mb down. Streams set to 1080p60fps experiencing stutters, even when turned down to 480p. Problem has existed for months on tvOS 17, even with tvOS 18. I've resorted to using my ipad and casting to my tv that way to watch.

    Doesn’t help that Twitch has dropped the ball with development of app on AppleTV (tvOS) and latest update is still from 20th May 2024 as of March 2025.
