Adding to the chorus of folks who want this mobile app (Android) change reverted. I don't want random streamers immediately on my screen when I open the mobile app. I want to easily see a list of the streams of channels I follow like I used to.
It shouldn't take extras steps to view channels you already follow. You're only harming those streamers by causing people to either be unable to find their streams or closing out the app altogether because no one wants this random auto playing feed of streamers they don't follow in their face. And when I say I'm not interested in a category or channel, my request is ignored because once the "feed" is cycled through, it just starts over even though I've told Twitch I'm not interested.
This is truly awful. I don't even want to open the app anymore unless I get a notification whereas I used to open it on a whim and pop in a stream of channels I followed.
This change to the app is one of the worst I've seen in a long time and I truly regret updating the app and wish I could go back. My Twitch viewership is going to decline now that it's become so unfriendly and unattractive on the mobile app.
