Clips Comment
Hi Twitch,
Thank you for an amazing weekend at TwitchCon! 🙌🏻 I’m really enjoying the new Mobile App with its TikTok-style scroll feature for streams and clips.
However, I believe we are currently missing out on user interactions with the clips. While we can like clips, there are no other ways to engage. Here are my suggestions to enhance this experience:
1. Comment System for Clips: Introduce a commenting system for clips where streamers and mods can filter comments. I understand that Twitch staff may not have the resources to moderate this extensively. This feature would enable streamer interaction with viewers when they are offline and could help solve the discovery issue. Instead of pushing lower streamers to the homepage, clips could act as business cards. Without social interaction, viewers might not be inclined to click on the clips tab.
2. Bit/Reactions Awards for Clips: Allow users to award the best clips with reactions or bits, similar to Reddit. This would enable users to support their favorite creators if they find the content valuable. Additionally, such comments could be made more visible.
These enhancements would make the new mobile update more meaningful, especially for the Clips tab. Currently, I fear it might not be popular since liking is the only available interaction.

Enjoying the TikTok-style mobile app? Strongly disagree, that update honestly just needs to be reverted. Worst app state I've ever seen, and it's not close with whoever may be 2nd place.
However, I would say the mentioned suggestions regarding the clips are interesting
