Probably gonna abandon the app. This new update has just made the experience horrible. VODs resetting to the beginning, streams not playing right because a TikTok style suggestion is playing at the same time in the background, freezing up every single day. Horrible

I almost can’t believe they just went ahead and pushed this to everyone. Suck cost fallacy I guess. No one in the testing phase liked it, but just f- the users I guess

I have not opened the app since I got the ui change, except to check if they had reverted it. I guess I won’t need to open it anymore seeing as how they didn’t say anything about the ui itself in their response to the feedback thing they put out

I updated the app without realizing that the thumbnail view for streamers was gone and had devolved into some form of multiple swipe system. As others have said, this is an atrocious way to display long form content and breaks all UX rules about decreasing the amount of “clicks” for the user. I usually use this app almost constantly throughout the day but I’m about to uninstall

Please revert it, is awful, i spend less time in the app because of this

yeh i ended up deleting the mobile app. every time i opened it i wanted to throw my phone at the wall. annoying random auto stream on start-up, cant continue watching vods, cant see stream names or titles, cant see times, follow list hidden behind tiktok scroll feature, alot of features gone. went third party app until they snap out of their tiktok wannabe phase.

App frequently stalls on the “Feed” viewer. Prevents me from going to other tabs in the app without fully closing the app and reopening it. Please either allow an option to change where your app starts up from or remove the Feed entirely. It has made mobile viewing even more of a pain than it already was.

It’s really annoying that we dont have the option to mute the stream that is starting literally when you open the app . Please make a switch or remove that feature . Take it to a different section - where I can choose for myself. Also when you minimize the screen you are looking - it will be stoppt and you have the tone from the other stream . That’s really pretty annoying.

With the old list UI you could see about 4 channel thumbnails in the view, start comparing who’s doing what, and making decisions about what to watch. It was a single scroll to see even more. With this new UI you have to swipe once per video, and you can’t compare channels without multiple swipes up and down. It’s really frustrating that it now takes at least 4x more interactions (swipes) to do what used to be doable in zero or a couple of interactions.

Man this update really making the mobile twitch users mad and it is really just crashing left and right please bring back the old UI

why make this change to the feed when no one streams in vertical. you can’t even browse the feed in landscape mode ?? does whoever pushed this through use the app at all

Agreed, I have never come to the “feedback” section before but I had to after the update - why on earth do I want streams autoplaying WITH VOLUME just from opening the app. So awful

Literally no one likes this UI update. Bring back the old UI.

GIVE BACK MY OLD UI. I see other people who ar also iOS whose apps are updated and don’t have it. WHAT were you thinking. This is not TikTok. Give back my twitch.

This was the dumbest update. It's intrusive and annoying. Not to mention there doesn't seem to be a way to mute it forcing you to deal with the sensory overload of **** you do not want to hear. It's also not fun when you open the app to watch one stream and it open to someone else's you also follow making you wonder if they saw you as a viewer before going to where you were trying to go resulting in unintentionally hurting someones feelings. Not cool Twitch.. not cool. Then there is also the being forced to watch other people you don't even follow nonsense. There is nothing good about this update.

this was my first time voting on anything like this & that alone should say something about how much i dislike the new tiktok-like live feed, the old one where you could see who was live in a list format was much better & easier to navigate & see who is & isnt live..

The new app IS GOD AWFUL.
Automatically starting a stream? Bad
Having that stream's audio play underneath what I was listening to already? Bad
Having to press the heart icon that is basically hidden to find list of followed channels to watch what I want? Bad
Uncheck "chat overlay" option for chat and have it still overlay chat? Bad
Swiping left to go back in the app leaves the stream I was watching? Bad

The new changes are horrible no good and very bad. Please sit down, grab a juice box, and think about what you've done.
