Bug Report
Re: Twitch iOS App v16.9
A bug is frequently encountered after latest update; when, opening emotes in chat window and rotating screen from portrait to landscape etc.
Bug causes app to freeze stream momentarily and almost crash, as app struggles to cache stream and rescale size of windows of stream and chat at same time, and both windows will also overlap, if screen is rotated back to upright position.

Description:
When watching a live stream on the Twitch mobile app, minimizing the stream (switching to background/Picture-in-Picture or minimizing within the app) and then returning to the stream causes a display scaling glitch. The video player does not resize correctly to fit the screen layout, resulting in a distorted or misaligned user interface.Steps to ReproduceOpen the Twitch mobile app.
Enter any live stream.
Minimize the stream (either by minimizing the player within the app or by leaving the app so it switches to Picture-in-Picture mode).
Re-enter/maximize the stream.Expected Result: The stream player should scale back to its original size and perfectly align with the standard mobile interface layout.
Actual Result: The player does not scale correctly. The UI elements and the video feed overlap or display at the wrong resolution, making it difficult to use the chat or view the stream properly.

Short-Term Workaround:
»Log out and exit app.
»Completely delete Twitch iOS app from iPhone.
»Download Twitch app again via iTunes AppStore.
»Open Twitch app and Sign-in again.Following the above steps resets certain functions the app has previously cached back to default and welcomes you back as new sign-in etc.
In my case, it has temporarily resolved the above issue, due to caching limits of animated emotes in chat being reset.
It becomes obvious when app has reached caching limits, as certain animated emotes will stop animating, while others still animate in chat, and above issue will occur again whenever you change orientation of app with emotes selection open under chat.
If you have any doubts or still encounter problems; contact support for further assistance.
