[Feature] New "Stream IRL" Flow on Mobile
We’ve made improvements to give you more flexibility to stream while on the go. You can now stream in portrait mode, easily view your chat with a sleek redesign, edit your stream info while you’re live, and coming soon - scene switching!
Please try the new flow on mobile and let us know what you think. We are continuing to make improvements and your feedback is appreciated!
I'm using an Apple iPhone to stream IRL and was hoping to play background music at the same time. I have a project to do today that I am going to share with folks, and had hoped that I would be able to play DMCA-free lofi in the background. Guess not. Please fix this, because that's something that I know a LOT of outdoorsy folks would appreciate.
Would be great if we could create overlays for mobile, irl screen.

Hi, I used to be able to stream on my phone using an external audio device as a microphone plugged in through the headphone jack. My phone recognizes this device and correctly routes it if I am capturing audio through my camera app for example. But Twitch just streams with no audio. This didn't used to be the case. How can I improve this? I'm a music streamer and audio quality through the phone mic pretty much sucks. I want to give my viewers a better experience!
Hello, I just started trying to stream on mobile and had a question / issue. I had bluetooth earbuds in but I believe the stream was only picking up audio from the phone itself - since when I would walk away from the phone, my voice was not as loud or clear. Is there a setting or something I can do to ensure that the phone is picking up the microphone from my earbuds instead of the internal mic?
I would love to have some customization options for streaming on mobile with twitch, maybe a streamlab plugin?
Also, I would like to assign microphone and output myself.
And yes, please let us hide up-time, views etc.
Would like the ability to toggle off the screen settings until you tapped the screen or something. I use twitch to stream visual novels off my psvita and switch with a phone camera and cannot read anything because the stream start/stop button along with mic, camera flip button, and etc are in the way. And the live stream bar with uptime and followers is pretty big, I once more cannot see beyond it. :(
Would love to be able to hide view count (and potentially uptime/the entire stats bar) while streaming. Would love if it was easy to swipe this bar in and out. There’s a settings in stream manager for “stats bar” but it doesn’t change the appearance within the twitch mobile stream
