Update the dashboard to mark a reward as being from "an integration" The page at
https://dashboard.twitch.tv/u/barrycarlyon/community/channel-points/rewards
Will list all rewards.
But it's not super obvious which rewards "I made" or which rewards "an API call" made.
So in theory a streamer not paying attention could delete an integration created reward.
I'm not saying "remove" the delete button, just add additional wording

Offer an optional "category" custom reward property which Twitch using to automatically toggle enablement Submitting this on behalf of Jeff Fritz, which he mentioned while talking about a Channel Points streaming opportunity. I was talking about building an example that uses webhooks to flag when a specific category is selected for a stream so a developer knows when to enable or disable a channel points reward. His question was why Twitch doesn't handle that automatically.
If there was an optional category property that could be set when creating the custom reward, Twitch could potentially handle enabling/disabling a reward more reliably if the context for switching is a category update, which would probably be the…

Was wondering if the dev team would consider adding a language filter for clips. Similar to the one implemented in the TwitchV5 API Old API allowed you to only get clips with a specified language. Since this is not in the new API, sorting clips through language, ends up eating through your requests. Since you have a limit of 100, about 1/3 of clips gathered will NOT be English, meaning you have roughly 66 clips. Would be nice if that could be added to allow requests to return more clips.

Add user profile image and basic game info on /helix/streams for /helix/streams can we add:
profileimageurl from /helix/users
and the game name (and potentially boxarturl) from /helix/gamesThis is very basic info related to the stream and would be really nice to have available in a single call rather than 3 separate calls. This is especially important with bots that are trying to get the status of many streams in a short period quickly racking up api calls

Offer user's current watch streak via API With watch streaks more and more prevalent, the ability to interact with them more is wanted. As of now, I believe the only interaction with watch streaks via the API is the event of a user sharing it via chat.
Adding current watch streak length as retrievable data allows for more dynamic tool development, for example custom events for reaching milestones other than the milestones that prompt sharing in Twitch chat.
The data available at minimum should be a user's current watch streak for the specified channel. This can either be added to a user's variables when retrieving user info,…

Extends Get Clips Download to include Closed Captions or not Clips can have Captions now per https://dashboard.twitch.tv/settings/stream
When enabled, viewers can add captions to new clips they create from your stream. Turning this setting off won't remove captions that already exist. You can remove captions when exporting clips from Twitch.
Please extend Get Clips Download so we can export with or without captions
Also incldue the ability to add (or not add) Captions when using the Create Clip endpoint.

Open Source the Unreal Engine twitch API plugin Please open source the Unreal Engine twitch plugin. Its difficult to even find or even get information on how to get it. It doesn't functionally work as well that the community could easily fix in no time if it was provided officially and publicly.

Allow Create Stream Marker to accept an App Access Token Last month a slew of API endpoints were given beta App Access Token support - which is great!
I was thinking the Create Stream Marker API would be a great candidate for also getting the App Access Token love.
In my case it would be useful for us to offer a configuration so that when someone did something special in our extension, we could automatically add a stream marker.

Get Ad Schedule incorrect response Since very recently, the "Get Ad Schedule" endpoint no longer returns RFC3339 formatted strings, but instead seems to return a number (probably time since epoch). The documentation clearly says "The UTC timestamp of the broadcaster’s next scheduled ad, in RFC3339 format."
This is the case for:
- nextadat
- snoozerefreshat
- lastadatIs the resonse a bug, or did the endpoint change?
Thank you in advance.

Get Suspicious User Status We have the ability to SET or REMOVE a user/viewers sus status but not the ability to check a users sus status (outside of real time in chat)
This would be useful for extension developers to hold a sus users message for additionally moderation review before it goes thru to whatever outputs and extension has.

Add Channel Filter to Get Moderated Channels There exists a Helix API which allows you to use a user access token with user:read:moderated_channels scope to call Get Moderated Channels, returning a list of paginated channels that the user is a moderator for. https://dev.twitch.tv/docs/api/reference/#get-moderated-channels
I would like to be able to pass in a filter of channel ids (or broadcaster ids, the name is not precious to me) so that if I wanted to check a specific list of channels I could do so and potentially not have to iterate the cursor for results.
I also think there should be a flag showing whether the user is Lead…

Restore consistency for custom_reward.id: visible in GraphQL, blocked in Helix Currently, custom_reward.id is:
Publicly visible via unauthenticated GraphQL responses in the Twitch frontend (to anyone with DevTools).
Blocked in the Helix API unless the request is authenticated as the broadcaster and includes elevated scopes.
This architectural inconsistency causes confusion and unnecessary friction for developers.
A well-structured access model should behave consistently:
If custom_reward.id is public (as its frontend exposure implies), it should be accessible via Helix in a read-only context — no scopes required.
If it’s private, then it should not appear in frontend GraphQL queries without authentication.
This is not a feature request.
This is about fixing a fundamental…3 votes -
Allow creating guest star sessions on behalf of streamer without call interface Currently, guest star sessions while IRL Streaming are complicated because the streamers need to be logged into a PC in order to enter a call.
Please add the possibility to either:
1. join Guest Star sessions in the mobile app (and possibility to run it in background), or
2. add a permission which has to be granted on authorization to start, join and run Guest Star sessions. To ensure streamers safety, you could send notifications in Twitch to confirm Guest Star sessions and additionally provide a button in the dashboard to stop a running Guest Star session immediately.Thank you…

API lists of users participating in predictions I'm going to develop an interactive game for Twitch chat, each user will be unit with his username. I'm trying to find solutions for two problems: "what chat will fight for" and "how divide chat into two teams". For now I came up with an idea to do both questions via predictions: users will have the same color team as for what color they bet their points (pink or blue), the amount of betted points has no affect on the game. For the balance in numbers of users in teams i had solutions (adding bots to outnumbered team, for example)…
