Offer watch streak event on API for tool developers
Viewers sharing their watch streaks are able to include a message with their sharing. Whether they choose to do so or not, it is shared in both chat and the activity feed on Stream Manager that this streak was shared.
However, this event is not available in the Twitch API, EventSub, or PubSub according to a search of the docs of those services for the word "streak." The only results were related to streak months for subscribing.
The lack of watch streak availability in the API limits the ability of tool creators to make up-to-date tools for streamers.
This feature request is to add in an event to the API for when a viewer shares a watch streak. This event should include the user details, the streak size, and any messages the user provided when they shared.
(Note: this idea is a duplicate of one I created under the Channel Points > Feature Request category of User Voice. I was unaware of this Developer > API category when I made that post. Please find duplicate here: https://twitch.uservoice.com/forums/932221-channel-points/suggestions/49303286-offer-watch-streak-event-on-api-for-tool-developer )
Watch Streaks has been added to V1 of the channel.chat.notification EventSub subscription type and documentation has been updated.

all of this ^^ I hate having to have extra resources open solely not to miss streaks.

We need this, we celebrate so many things for viewers but sometimes streaks get overlooked depending on how busy chat gets, if an API can pick it up and alert us like we already have for so many other things it would do nothing but enhance people's streams! It's a win-win to make this update.

I would love to add something fun for my viewers stream streaks! People have a lot of pride in their streaks and it would be awesome to celebrate them properly!
I am sure that this would make it even more enticing for viewers to keep up their streaks!

I thought I missed something but it just doesn't exist in EventSub. It definitely needs adding.

I also think Streamers should have the ability to customize their streaks.
ie, snap has incredible success with their streak system because people want to keep their chat streaks and will confirm these streaks with every day they chat. I would love the option as a streamer to not only be able to automatically celebrate these streaks with audio/visuals, but also if I choose to make it available for my viewers to claim it each and every time they enter chat!
I am extremely confident this would encourage more people to claim them and be consistently more eager to maintain them rather then having to wait to flex it as their streak becomes higher.
Thanks. TheOnlySuper

It's sent through IRC as a `USERNOTICE` but it's not documented for whatever reason. The `msg-id` is `viewermilestone` and then you have to check the `msg-param-category` tag to see if it's `watch-streak`, to which then you can grab the `msg-param-value` (the amount of days) and `msg-param-copoReward` (the amount of channel points earned) tags.

Note: I made a duplicate of this idea under the Developers > API section of user voice since this idea seems to fit very well under that category. I am leaving this one up because I had shared the link to this one for people to view on other forums.
Please find the other one I created here: https://twitch.uservoice.com/forums/310213-developers/suggestions/49303337-offer-watch-streak-event-on-api-for-tool-developer
