We launched the channel.raid EventSub subscription type in early March.

We are not adding a channel.host subscription type at this time, though we will continue to consider this request.

    Due to missing Host API I can't receive hosts within the Free Alerts Twitch Extension.

    I would like to have an endpoint on the Twitch Helix APIs and/or on the PubSub topics to register HOST_STARTED events (when a specific channel receives a HOST from another channel).

    Currently, bots have to connect as the broadcaster to receive those NOTICE events in IRC. If the endpoints are not to be created, maybe just lifting the "broadcaster only" restiction would be nice, as people see the events anyway in the actual twitch website chat

    Yes please, currently the only way to get "channel was hosted" notifications is through IRC with the broadcaster account
