  1. We should be able to CRUD the Role Manager that is in the Streamers Dashboard. This would resolve multiple UserVoice requests including CRUD for VIP, Mod & the Editor migration from v5.

  4. If a channel is running an event that awards a channel badge due to watchtime of sub/gifted sub, I'd like to display that on an overlay and/or track success for the streamer. Including celebrating the end of the event with "hey this many people were here for this"

    So please provide a channel level drop.entitlement.grant for this new badge drop

  5. The EventSub event received when a message is held by automod doesn't tell which part of the message triggered the automod.

    First party site highlights the related chunks in red.

    Pubsub fragments contains an "automod" prop with a "topics" for each that tell why this fragment has triggered the automod.

    Eventsub seems kinda ready for this as the problematic part of the message has its own fragment, it's just missing a flag to tell it's the automoded chunk and ideally the topics details like with Pubsub.

  6. On the Unity Getting Started (https://dev.twitch.tv/docs/game-engine-plugins/unity-guide/) page, under Subscribe to Events, the examples might be a bit inaccurate. Here is the code for Channel Point Rewards:

    GameTask<EventStream<CustomRewardEvent>> CustomRewardEvents;

    start()
    {
    CustomRewardEvents = SubscribeToCustomRewardEvents();
    }

    update()
    {
    var CurRewardEvent;
    CustomRewardEvents.TryGetNextEvent(out CurRewardEvent);
    if(CurRewardEvent != null)
    {
    //Do something
    Debug.Log("{CurRewardEvent.RedeemerName} has brought {CurRewardEvent.CustomRewardTitle} for {CurRewardEvent.CustomRewardCost}!");
    }
    }

    Issues:
    - void Start(), void Update().
    - SubscribeToCustomRewardEvents() is a member of 'Twitch.API'. So it should be 'Twitch.API.SubscribeToCustomRewardEvents()'.
    - 'var' variables are implicitely typed, so the line 'var CurRewardEvent;' throws an erorr. 'CustomRewardEvent CurRewardEvent;' would work.
    - CustomRewardEvents task doesn't have TrgGetNextEvent() or WaitForEvent()…

  7. Initially we'll need an API to toggle that check box on a clip that makes a clip eligible for the discovery feed.

    So that we can have editors (or mods that don't need/shouldn't have editor role on the site) the ability to manage clips in an external tool that third parties may have.

    (will need to update this UV, probably, when theres more information about the feature when API stuff I'd like is figured out)

  8. It would be nice to find out the last that a channel did an actual stream from the API.

    This has been requested in the past, and a Twitch admin responded with some workaround that are pretty limiting.

    There may be some valid (privacy?) reasons by Twitch as to why this isn't something they want to offer up, but let's see if there's interest from others.

    Ideally, the helix/users call would return a 'last_streamed_at' field set to the last date that a user streamed.

    This could be limited to only apply to streaming (not logged in and watching/chatting) and you…

  9. To date, there's no way to accurately know how long a user has been timed out for.
    We only get a "expires_at" date that tells when the TO ends.
    We can kinda compute the duration by making the diff between this date and the "message_timestamp" from the event, but it is not accurate and can be off by 3s or more from a few tests.

    Having a "duration" field with the number of seconds the user has been TO for would be nice to avoid this issue.

  10. The channel.chat.clear, channel.chat.clear_user_messages, and channel.chat.message_delete EventSub events include the info of the broadcaster and (in the latter two) the info of the affected user. If we subscribe with a broadcaster or moderator token for that channel, we should also receive the info of the moderator that performed the action, similar to how we can see that info in the Twitch dashboard/mod view. This would also make them consistent with other events like ban/unban, shoutout create, etc.

  11. Create a BlueSky Account for TwitchDev on dev.twitch.tv The site now has 1 million accounts, and more Twitch Streamers are moving there. Creating an account not only provides another outlet for TwtichDev announcements, but also demonstrates to Twitch users that Twitch Developer relations is aware of the potential of this platform. It does NOT necessarily show that Twitch is adopting an official stance.

  12. Within EventSub's channel.follow event, it would be nice if there was info about if the follow originated from a Shoutout, and who the Shoutout was from.

    This would be useful for stream overlays, so the notification can say something like "[Viewer] followed, thanks to [Shoutout Origin]'s shoutout!"

  13. I'd like to see an API endpoint that gives me information about the level of support for a given channel/streamer and user/viewer combination.

    On one hand, I as a viewer want to have a way of getting my total numbers raised in support of a given streamer (that is, user BhaaLseN on $channel).

    On the other hand, I as a streamer want to have a way of getting total numbers raised by a particular viewer of mine (that is, user $viewer on BhaaLseN).

    The former is meant for viewers and addons like FFZ/BTTV that display numbers: amount of subs gifted…

  14. To forward live notifications, it would be awesome to also receive the live notification message the streamer has set - either when they set it with channel.update and/or when the stream goes live.

  15. Add a radio option to extension capabilities, so that if a member of chat is banned, like how chat gets a overlay saying you are banned.

    An extension could have a twitch provided blocking overlay for a specific extension if the developer enables this as a option.

    So if a member of chat is banned, the extension unloads
    And if a chat banned member loads the page the extension doesn't even load and presents the is banned UI (omit the unban request button just overlay the extension)

  16. With the new helix API there is no possibility to retrieve user logo and banner information.
    In V5 API this information could be retrieved with this call:

    GET https://api.twitch.tv/kraken/channels/<channel ID>

    Will it also be implemented in helix?

  17. We currently have API's to

    • Upload Video
    • Collect videos into categorys
    • Update Stream title

    We do not have any API's to manage

    • Contents of a ReRun Playlist
    • Start a ReRun
    • Stop a ReRun

    I'd like those API's please.
