Gain the ability to disable or at least minimize the featured clips section on a given category When I go to the clips page of a game category I want to see the "most relevant" section arranged by viewcount and all time. Thing is you can't do this since you have to scroll past the entire featured clips category before you can see the beginning of the most relevant clips category and the page will crash before you ever reach it due to having to scroll and load every single featured clip until the 0 view ones.

Browseable Directories Currently each directory shows only recommendations. Not everyone is interested in them. It would be helpful if we were able to browse directories if we so wanted to. We can only browse all categories and live channels. We need to be able to browse directories by only showing categories and live channels within them. Make it so you can filter by low to high Video Games (not channels) just like you can filter high to low To get to the low video games you have to browse downward for twenty minutes to half an hour and then by the time you click on a game with just one stream and finish with that one stream to find another one the streamers have often already logged off forcing you to waste another 20 minutes scrolling down to the bottom while it all loads. I just want a way to filter to the lowest viewed video games so I can discover new games and the streamers that love a game.

Please include uptime (HH:MM) in live channel preview thumbnail overlays Similar to the "LIVE" and viewer count corner overlays ("tw-media-card-image__corners") on live channel preview thumbnails, I believe an uptime counter should show up on hover state, giving the user an idea of how long the stream has been live. Play only OW streams that are in-game. High-rank Overwatch streamers usually get ~20 mins of queueing right now and that is often filled with another game or a youtube game.
I suggest a way to only view streams that are in-game, and to automatically go to the next streamer if the current stream doesn't have any gameplay. Or to have some small badge saying "In-Game" show up on the thumbnail.

Sort by Categories & Channels by Relevancy Instead of Current Viewers When browsing categories and channels on Twitch the results are sorted by the current viewer count. While this is one way to sort things, it doesn’t facilitate connecting viewers with the content they are most likely to watch. When looking at other content platforms such as Youtube, Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, etc… none of them present viewers with content based solely on how many people are currently watching it but instead use algorithms to present them with recommendations based on the viewer’s previous behavior and the viewing behavior of other viewers. We need an Automated 'Live Cruise' for Micro-Streamers The current vertical 'Discovery Feed' is just a poor copy of TikTok.
Twitch users don't want pre-recorded clips; they want live interactions.Instead of scrolling through clips, let users join a 'Live Roulette / Cruise'.

"Sort by Consistency" Displayed value in this filter is active weeks (0-999+).
Value increases each week by one after 3h+ of streaming. Else the value resets to 0 weeks again.
This way you can find 1 viewer streamer that are reliable and worth an average viewer's time and make growth of small communities more probable
EDIT: To allow holidays, one could for example add highest score after. "Streamername 5w (pb: 32w)"

24/7 Rerun Filter 24/7 streams of reruns are really annoying. I watch streams of a small game and right now the 2nd most watched stream is a 24/7 stream with afk viewers showing outdated content. When you scroll down theres two more 24/7 streams in the first 4 rows.
They add nothing of value and only farm afk viewers. They hurt the growth of new streamers and make it harder to find the good content.
Please allow us to filter them out.

Allow any user to create a publicly shareable playlist (or other name for a list of streamers) similar to how playlists work on Spotify Most platforms have some way to build and share lists of content. Super users curate these lists for others to discover. I struggle to find streamers with the current available tools. This would improve discoverability within the platform.

Sonic 06 Sonic 06 is a very infamous sonic game known for it's bugs, I think it should have a category because many people do stream this game and it's one of the only mainline sonic games that doesn't have a category, so when people stream this game, it either goes to Sonic the Hedgehog 1 (because the two games are called sonic the hedgehog) or Sonic P-06 (the games fan remake) so that is my idea!

Viewer Counts, Search, Votes, Discoverability Options One day per month, turn off viewer counts on all channels and randomize display on category searches.
Allow viewers to cast votes for what a channel has to offer (fun, chill, hype, etc). Use these to allow viewers to align their viewing habits based on these types of streamers for those that don't want to view by category
Enhance search ability for vods/clips allowing to find based on machine learning of what is being talked about, and eventually roll out AI integrated algorithms to deliver content that aligns with viewing habits

Embed buttons for switching broadcasts When visiting Twitch, you need to select a broadcast to watch, and to switch to other broadcasts, you need to go back to the suggestions table and select again.
This method is inconvenient for new users; it forces them to return to the list of suggestions again and again, which is annoying.
It is much more convenient to have toggle buttons on the broadcast player to simply switch broadcasts, as is implemented on some streaming sites.
