Hello!

Me and a group of streamers are organizing The Baguette Awards, a rising-streamer awards show happening on January 17th, designed to spotlight smaller creators across multiple categories, similar in format to QTCinderella’s Streamer Awards but focused on emerging streamers.

We currently have over 1,000 streamers nominated and hundreds of community submissions, with multiple hosts, award presenters, and creators planning to co-stream or react live to the event.

We are requesting a temporary event category on Twitch for the awards show date to:

• Help viewers discover the main broadcast and co-streams

• Reduce category fragmentation during a live, time-boxed event

• Encourage participation and visibility for smaller creators

An event category would greatly improve discoverability and organization for viewers and participating streamers alike.

Thanks for considering. We are happy to provide additional details if helpful.
