"Mini Painting" or "Miniatures" Should be a Category
"Mini Painting" is a distinct and vibrant community on Twitch, but it does not have a logical 'Category' home on twitch. This community is currently divided amongst a handful of existing categories which are each misleading or overly general.
"Mini Painting" streams are easily recognized by an overhead shot of hands painting miniatures for RPGs, Board Games, Tabletop Wargames, or for display. These streams often have a secondary face-cam, and possibly even a third camera for a paint palette. They are a distinct type of content. Typically there are close to 1000 concurrent viewers watching content creators from the Mini Painting community.
The easiest way for Twitch to support this branch of content is to give it an appropriate name. "Mini Painting" is my suggestion, but "Miniatures Painting" or "Miniatures" also give the correct idea.
This community is currently split between existing categories such as "warhammer," "art," "makers and crafting," and "just chatting." This hurts discoverability for mini painters. They are all overly broad, and they are often misleading.
Please, Please, PLEASE add "Mini Painting" as a category. :-)

While you're at it how about adjusting your algorithm to start pushing regular streamers harder. I've been doing this twice a week for nearly two years and if I were on any other platform my growth would be far greater than it is here. Growth allows me to reach more individuals with sage hobby advice.

Miniatures Painting needs a unified category. When I paint miniatures, I don't always paint Warhammer, but when I paint Warhammer I always paint miniatures. We don't need a "Warhammer" category, nor a "Battletech" category, unless those companies are willing to provide monetary considerations for each painter that paints in their category. Miniatures Painting should be the category with those as hashtags, not categories.

I agree. It's confusing to have to go to Art, D&D and Warhammer when you're looking for mini painters. Let's make it a category!

Mini and model building/painting can fall into so many categories, Art, Warhammer, Board Games, Makers and Crafting, Dungeons and Dragons, etc. It would help the community greatly to have a blanket category we can all participate in and find one another through.

Absolutely. Grouping in with Art or Makers & Crafting is too vague for such a distinct and uniquely focused category.

I concur. When I do mini painting I choose either Art or Warhammer but neither is accurate.

PLEASE. This is absolutely something we need. It is often not just asscoiated with simply painting them either - this includes assembly of these models and custom 3d-printed design work associated with them. This alone takes them more out of the " Art " category as it is not always just painting.
I vote " Miniatures " to include other aspects.
