Filter Front Page Auto-play When User Sets Category to Do-Not-Recommend
With the release of new games, right now especially Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, I can imagine many people like myself are wanting to avoid spoilers of the gameplay or game content. But even if we set those categories to be not-recommended, various channels playing those games will still appear on the front page and automatically start playing, which has the potential to reveal critically spoiling moments in the game before the user can stop the video or navigate away. It is absolutely necessary as a service for Twitch to filter out those front-page auto-play results when their categories are intentionally blocked by the user.

During game/expansion releases I try to avoid spoilers as much as I can, and even preview images can spoil big moments.
Instead of having to temporarily unfollow people and losing your follow streak, I suggest the ability to temporarily hide categories from showing up on your following page.

How the F U C K is this not a thing. Twitch stands by hate groups and hate movements, I dont know why i'm surprised.

There are channels i don't want to see on my feed, and there are games that i am no longer wanting to see on my feed. At the moment the only way to block a channel is to report it; it would be nice to have the ability to hide/block channels and games from the feed altogether so i can see actual content i'm interested in

Please implement this. I'd love to be able to hide a particularly popular game that's all over the front page. I'd still like to follow streamers for their other content, but wish there was some way to completely hide when they play a game I have a negative interest in.

Definitely agree, this is a must-have feature.

I have people I'm following that are playing games I don't want spoiled. I obviously don't watch these streams but still end up seeing screencaps of the game when I check my follow list.
Would it be possible to mark certain games as "hide" that hides all images of that game?
Thank you :) -

Much like following games you love, I think it could be prudent to be able to select games you want to hide. Specifically, this could be applied to games you have no interest in, AND could be used to opt out of seeing games you want to avoid spoilers on.
