Re-add Mutli Tag Filtering
Please reintroduce multi tag filters. Currently as it stands you can only search for channels with one language tag and one other tag. Previously on pc you were able to search for channels with as many tags filtered as you wanted. This feature was also available on mobile until recently.

@Desirsar1 I went ahead and added a way to exclude certain tags because this was something I was meaning to add anyway since I like to do the same. So for your use case, you can just specify 'vtuber' in the new exclude tag field, and it will hide those. As far as hiding any mention of the word in the channel descriptions, that's a little too particular of a use case and would require some additional work just to implement (unless you mean the titles of their stream). So I think just being able to exclude the tag will be enough for most.
I also want to clarify that I would very much prefer Twitch implement similar search functionality themselves, and hope they do, so I don't even need to create a tool like this. But until then, we're all a little stuck. This particular uservoice post is a step in the right direction, so keep sharing it with everyone you know so it can get some visibility from the Twitch devs.

The tool looks interesting, but I don't see an obvious way to filter a tag, only search for them. My goal is to never see anyone with the VTuber tag or the word in their channel description.
This is why we need this feature back, and in a more robust form than before. The more I have to scroll past streams I don't want when looking for anyone streaming a specific game, the less likely I am to end up watching anyone at all.

I was looking for a Twitch project to work on since I decommissioned the API I was hosting. So I created a stream filter (inspired by CommanderRoot's) that allows you to specify tags. You can do a search for any tag you provide, or you can use the option to force only searching the tags that you include. For example, you can find all live streams that are "English, Horror, FirstPlaythrough". Feel free to provide any feedback.

As a bonus, the site also tracks the top current tags being used on Twitch.

2024. I cant believe the most basic and obvious search functions are missing from most search engines. More erroneous results, does not result in a better search.

Please for simply add this back, I filter by 1 tag and then have to skip over so many streamers in other languages. I need to filter by english and other tags. It's currently so inconvenient.

So, I got tired of waiting for this to happen, and I just made my own tool. You can sort by multiple tags, exclude tags you don't want, and filter by viewer count and lots of other things. The UI is pretty basic at the moment, but I'm improving it all the time! It's at https://www.stream-scanner.com

This is absolutely necessary both for streamer to be able to target their audience and for watchers to find streamers and use the platform more. Please reinstate this feature!

It's odd that they would take a step back in their functionality. Please reinstate this feature. It was very helpful.

add it back

This absolutely needs to be re-implemented. Filtering for multiple tags is most of what I would expect to use this feature for.

Why don't you provide search filters?
The usefulness of having an effective search is essential for navigation and does not prevent having automatic suggestions, the two filters present are too restrictive and putting two search bars is a particular choice of web design.
The suggestion is to improve the filters (dates, categories, alphabetical...) and to have only one search bar for the whole web site to have a better user experience and more clarity.Even knowing that it is marketed, to highlight content or collect trends and better sell them to advertisers, this is not a reason to mislead Internet users.

This being taken away directly hurt intersectionally marginalised streamers, I feel. But more than anything else, it helps refine searches for the kind of stream that we want. I can't think of any helpful reason why this would be taken away
