Sensory-Friendly Tag
Most average Twitch streams are not necessarily sensory-friendly for neurodivergent folks or just folks who prefer chiller spaces. I know we currently have a "cozy" space but cozy and sensory-friendly are not necessarily aligned.
Sensory-friendly looks like no loud alerts, no shouting, calmer visuals, etc.
I would love the opportunity to be able to communicate to other neurodivergent humans that my space will be safe for them and less likely to cause over-stimulation and I'm sure that other sensory-friendly creators would as well!

Hey all!
Just reaching out to let y'all know that we now have a 'sensory-friendly' tag on Twitch! Thank you so much for this feedback and please let us know if there are other tags you would like to see added to the site.

This idea also includes viewers that would like a sensory-friendly broadcast, simply as a preference. I, myself, enjoy being in a community amongst others that seek the same, regardless of being neurotypical or not. Some of my favorite channels on twitch feature advisories or warnings about high-end content; even though it may not effect me - it speaks to the character of broadcast: caring. That alone allows me more comfort in welcoming some other guests to also enjoy that very content, knowing that they will be well taken care of. Some community members may also be viewing a channel from their households, which could include viewers that may be sensitive, even if they are not as sensitive their selves. I feel having a tag in place for such content would help both the creators and viewers.

As someone on the autistic spectrum myself, and have sensory issues, something like this would be extremely useful for me. Some days I'm on edge and more prone to sensory overload, so this would help me find some chill streamers to watch and relax to, without the risk of overloading.

I usually have to parse so many tags to get to what I want and this eliminates most of the weird and ambiguous searching! I’m always looking for this and definitely want to experience it!

i remember searching for this tag and being surprised it wasn’t there! would love this even as someone who isn’t neurodivergent but gets easily spooked by jump scares and fps type of games!
