Mute sound / video of recommended streams on the main page, before entering the site, in the settings
I went to the main page of Twitch and automatically, on the main screen, they began to show me a stream of a certain "buster" who was shouting deafeningly. How can you turn off autoplay of such junk content?

Yes, I need this!

Seconded. Option to disable, mute separately from other streams, or disable auto play is needed.

Show those "Featured Broadcasters" on the front. I don't mind but don't enable Autoplay. Let us choose if we want to see it or not.

That or at least turn off auto play.

I don't want to see a featured broadcast when I go to twitch. An option to remove it would be nice.

It's absolutely not relevant to my interests - I'm perfectly capable of clicking the streams I want to listen to. Please give me the ability to disable this default behavior - or better: disable it period!

I agree! I like to have my friends streams open in my browser,
so that when open Chrome next time, their channel is loaded.
Problem is that I don`t always open Chrome to watch a stream,
and having it start playing by itself is really annoying! Please do something about this devs!

Anyone that connects directly to https://www.twitch.tv/ is blasted by sound from the highlighted streamer as soon as the page loads.

Yes please. The fact you can't turn it off is ridiculous.
