I don't think there needs to be a White tag, but it would be really cool to support Black, Indigenous, Asian, etc. (POC) streamers easier by finding them faster with ethnic tags. It might also help POC feel more seen by having more access to their content and representation of their content. Sometimes when raiding people, it's hard to find a certain demographic without tags. I understand this could create echo chambers, but perhaps it could also do the opposite by encouraging viewers to check out these tags. It also boosts POC streamers' visibility for others searching for them.
We’re super excited to announce that we have added more than 350 new tags, including a number of options related to race, ethnicity, and nationality.
For more information, you can take a look at our blog post at https://blog.twitch.tv/en/2021/05/26/celebrate-yourself-and-your-community-with-350-new-tags/. Thank you for your feedback!

Agreed with the previous comments - seems questionable at best that ethnicity even factors into your decision of who to raid. The only time the type of race matters to me is with Mario Kart streams *ba-dum tssh*
"I don't think there needs to be a White tag, "
And that's why exactly there is a need for "white" tag (which is true to a certain extend) but there is a need for other skin colours but in # format?
1. You are racist as f-ck.
2. World outside of the US exists. In that world we do not look at people thru race lense but thru cultural and experience lense. Start doing the same and maybe you lot will stop being so cancerous.
Why shouldn't there be white tag? I'm not saying there doesn't appear to be more white streamers than POC streamers at a glance, I just think if you add all those tags you should add a White tag. Because you're literally leaving white people out and denying them something POC have, which is actually racist.
sounds pretty racist.
