Small Streamer Support
Twitch is increasingly seeing success in large, full-time partnered streamers who seem to be growing in mainstream recognition and opportunities, but what is or can Twitch do to help dedicated small streamers get visibility to avoid a YouTube-like situation where it's only for the celebrities.

I don't think this will offer any real help to "small streamers."
You need to connect with likeminded people who are INTO YOUR TYPE OF CONTENT, not "looking to support other small streamers!!"
Focus on your own outreach and content, and doing what you do better and making friends in the community, instead of just expecting to be put on some streamer shelf on the front page and that being the magic bullet for you. Unless your content is exceptional, this isn't going to do anything for you at all.

I think allowing the new streamers to be featured on the main page would help them grow their communities faster, I would like to see twitch showcase some of the newer streamers that haven't got many views, maybe they could do it so that when you are searching in a specific category there's random new streamers scattered in with the regular much bigger channels, I would hope by doing this it will give them some exposure and allow them to grow as a channel
just an idea but thought I would mention it -

When you sign up for twitch for the first time, you have a choice of top streamers from domestic countries and abroad, which have more than 1k viewers. Wouldn't it be better to advertise with a small streamer? Because you "pull" the wood into the forest. Big streamers have enough advertising on social networks, ads, in all media ... If you present small streamers as an offer:
1. You motivate people to stream
2. You help small streamers from which you would also make a profit too
3. You do not harm large streamers because they are easily traceable even without a twitch offer -

Make a section on twitch that promotes a lot of small streamers. It gives us small streamers more hope to be noticed.

the majority of people misunderstand what small mean there is people who is thirsty for more making him use anything that can give him a benefit only for himself having almost an average of 300 viewers and sick more without seen that there's people that stream with 0 viewer or 3 at the max of it and they are sometimes they looks professional than some others that have **** of viewers that lack knowledge of obs first hhh, and one more thing "the qualities option " in some country's like Arabic country's they have a very difficult time to enjoy a game cause of lag and low connection speed and it's not there fault even if there trying to watch a streamer or even a friends of theres he will be just a beginer that don't have qualties option and end up not enjoying also watching there friends play it's a bit harsh for them to enjoy gaming in general soo i wish in the future twitch system look deeply close to this point that cause people watch those who have qualities option rather than qualities of content even other streaming platform give you that for free and that's a big hit for those who want to start stream on this case

maybe make smaller streamers put on the front page instead of bigger ones so they can grow and not give up due to a lack of viewers and follows

This is because there are a lot of streamers that has not a defined content and they just stay in the Just Chatting category assorbing your possibile viewers.
Let's suppose there are 100 people on twitch and you are in the Music Category.
6 person are on your category and the other 94 are on Just Chatting (real ratio, not kidding.)If you stream yourself live making music you wont be discovered and if you do, be happy for your 2 viewers.
Just chatting is over saturated. It should be limited if you want to keep your Affiliate/Partner status to 2 Hours per week.
If you don't have content just don't stream. Nobody forces you.Anyway, if you like my idea vote it. I think it will help us (small streamers).

Many frequently streaming streamers with little followership have really good quality Streams but most of them aren't discovered unless actually sought for.
except for the sorting viewers from less to many feature how else does Twitch support smaller Streamers? -

Improvements for those of us who are affiliates, that it costs us much more to become a partner, and that we also give everything, and that we do not have the same facility in terms of payment, not even in direct contact with the platform, have you thought about download the missions to become a partner? So streamers would not be lost to other platforms. Small channels, we need it a lot.

I agree with this suggestion, taking as an example my own channel, where I'm really a small streamer looking for support

Well you have 7.9k followers.
And i can barely get known as a smaller streamer cause all these YouTubers are allowed to come over to the platform instead of streaming on their own platform. All the YouTubers get partnered instantly if they are popular or big.
This is betting the purpose of small streamers streaming anymore.
I thought about giving up and I joined twitch back in like 2012 and I still can't get a viewer base no matter how much I change my streams up. -
HonestEvolution commented
You could help small streamers more instead of all these big streamers, popular YouTubers moving over to twitch.
How am I as a small streamer suppose to get big when all these YouTubers are sitting on 10-20k viewers.
None of the viewers on twitch are going to search for someone smaller than us.
So how do we get bigger if you won't put our channels out there? The Presentation could be better at helping small streamers.

I wish, there is some ways you can support small streamers to make them big. I saw what you did with the "boost this stream" thing and I think that the big streamers will get more benefits from that than the small ones. I hope that you can make something that can really help small streamers.
