Small Streamer Support
Twitch is increasingly seeing success in large, full-time partnered streamers who seem to be growing in mainstream recognition and opportunities, but what is or can Twitch do to help dedicated small streamers get visibility to avoid a YouTube-like situation where it's only for the celebrities.

https://twitch.uservoice.com/forums/924712-new-creator-dashboard/suggestions/41549866-add-a-random-small-streamer-suggestion-to-the-ra This is a suggestion I provided on a way they could reasonably implement this. Small streamers who want to grow could opt in, and channels preparing to raid (via the dashboard) would be prompted to raid a random channel with a lower viewer count.

Would be nice if it wasn’t so hard for us smaller streamers to be found!

Yo sugiero de recomendar mas a los streamer pequeños o sin viewers, tambien priorizando la costancia y el tiempo.
I suggest to recommend more to small streamers or without viewers, also prioritizing consistency and time.

there needs to be more light for new streams, ive been streaming for a month or two and am finding it impossible to get myself out there, more veiws or follows. i feel as if there needs to be more light on new and up and coming streamers

Unpopular opinion, I don't see this working as much as people think.
Reason being is that the vast majority of people who request something like this on reddit, twitter and this page are streamers themselves. Every small streamer wants to grow their channel and are hyper focused on growing their channel, they are not gonna help out other small streamers grow their channels. They have their own channels to work on.
So at the end of the day, you have a whole section dedicated to small streamers trying to grow but the only people in said category are streamers, not viewers. The vast amount of viewers on twitch will not willing go to this category.
I would love to be wrong but I honestly believe putting yourself in a dedicated small stream category and using things like #smallstreamer is a hindrance to yourself.

Perhaps Twitch could consider having a tournament of a particular game (or games) where only streamers with low followers can play to help them promote? It helps both Twitch by giving them an event promote, but also helps the streamers by getting the publicity AND having the chance to show off if they can entertain or not (to FlopzYT's point)

like if they have at least have 2 viewers they appear on at least 5 peoples recommended and have the base settings more jumbled not have high to low or low to high but more of 2 big streamers with a lot of views and then 2 or 3 small streamers with a lot less views ide make it easier for people to grow themselves and their community

I agree with this it could be a general category that has a bunch of small streamers playing a variety of games in order to help boost the discover-ability.

Have Streamers with very small to no views be a featured category on the browse section.

Streaming for hours is easy but getting more views or followers are hard since you have to compete with thousands of other small streamers not to mention that "Recommended" recommends the big time streamers which makes it even more harder. "Recommended" should recommend small streamers to help people like me to at least get those achievements.

maybe to they add something like you can promote stream for free like give your freind to promote you idk.

They promote the bigger streamers because they have more viewers and better clickrates. Before complaining consider that your stream may not be entertaining, dont blame others.
