Older Game Directory Discoverability
I've had a thought about Older Game Directories and the problem with there discoverability. Lately, I've personally been streaming under a game category where the follower count does not accurately represent the viewer count ratio.
I never understood the reasoning behind why someone would follow a game directory on Twitch, but, yet the game directory only has 2 - 5 viewers
Examples:
Pokemon Stadium (1) Follow Count: 46.7K
Pokemon Stadium (2) Follow Count: 40.7K
Like, who is following?
Granted they are old games, and that goes for most older games on Twitch. The issue is that the Game Directory it'self doesn't have a "Turn On Notifications" button from what I can tell
If people are following these older game directories, or have in the past, how come it's low?
This is where Descoverability could have a really big impact on a smaller twitch channel, and the older game it'self.
If the game it'self had a 'Turn on Notification' button maybe people who actually have followed in the past, would be interested in watching again.
Make it so, the actual Follow Count represents the viewer ratio, because to me personally, having 40.7K or 46.7K Followers on a game directory and only a small amount of viewers is basically lying to whoever is viewing the directory.
If this is in the works, great! If it's not, it should be ASAP!

hey man- this is a great idea that I also thought of. Just needs rewording, so I'm going to post my own take on it and hopefully reach more like-minded users.
