Allow manual sorting of your Followed Channels
Simply allow full manual sorting of all your followed channel in the sidebar (on desktop, Chrome/Firefox etc.). Additionally give options to sort by subscriber/follower count (add new ideas here..).
Currently the channels are in what seems to be a completely random order (definitely not alphabetical or by sub/follow count). My most watched streamers which are also big by overall Twitch standards are at the very bottom by default and I need to 1) scroll down, 2) click "more" twice to get to them when they're not live.

Sorting the sidebar by followed age is the ideal solution for me. I am a longtime follower of many channels on twitch, some which are small and stream infrequently. They get buried on the list as it is beneath large channels, and it is inconvenient to search through the list for the channels I want to support most.

I would like to be able to sort the sidebar by my follow age in the channel.

Can you make folders for your followed channels?? I follow so many people for different reasons, it would be nice to make a "GTA" folder and put everyone I follow on the NoPixel server there, and another for "DJs" for all the DJs I follow for music..
Similar to how you can make folders on Discord.

I would love this so I can find streamers who straight up faded into the ether so I can follow channels that have any activity

Maybe you could add an option to sort by most views, least views, or watch time. You could put the channels you watch the most at the top of the list instead of the top streamers.

I agree with this. I would like grouping for followed channels to be able to group by teams

Yes please!

Sorting by "subscription length" would be a nice one too. So you know you have a long sub on the top channels etc

Give the users the power to sort the "Followed Channels" list on the left side of the page. Just a simple button with "High to Low" and "Low to High" (viewers), nothing complicated. Of course you can always highlight the top channels as you wish, but give us that tiny button in the UI that will make the experience easier for the users. By the way many extensions have this feature.
Sorry for my English, love from Argentina <3

Channels that I view more often should be at the top of my Followed Channels sidebar when they post new content. It makes no sense how they are organized, because it isn't alphabetical, and the streamer who's channel I watch every day is always hidden below the "Show More..." button, when videos from smaller streamers with maybe 5 views get put at the very top of the list. I understand you want to expose those small streamers more, but I can definitely say I don't feel like the same is being done to my channel, since I know my views aren't increasing after the stream ends. If I'm watching a channel every single day, I want to know when they have new VODs for me to watch. It shouldn't be necessary to go digging just to find someone who's videos are pulling over 25k viewers per stream. Aren't those people you would benefit from promoting?

i never have enough people online for sorting by viewer count to be a problem, unless it's during Minecraft Championship, even then i usually watch a yotube stream pov.
The sorting system would be nice for offline tho, instead of sorting channels by how many streams ive missed, cause when i want to actually watch a vod, i usually have to go to the bottom of the followed list(3 clicks of show more). its kinda annoying with the streamer with the most missed livestreams at the top, instead of the bottom. -

Looks like twitch sort of implemented this as a test feature for a while (https://www.dexerto.com/entertainment/twitch-experimenting-with-new-way-to-customize-followed-channels-lists-1476766/). When this was activated on my account, I loved it! But now it has been disabled... Please enable this again Twitch!

But don't change the sorting without my consent, twitch. That is what they did with my account. My sorting is total chaos. And I have no option to change the sorting.
So if twitch implements this, please give us the option to choose what sorting we want. -

wish i could rearrange them so badly.

I like the ideas here but I just realized that it used to default sort highest view count descending, now it just seems totally random. I can't find the streamers I want to watch nor do I have the time to suss through Twitch random sorting. Pls add user sort functionality.

Get the 'Twitch Now' extension, i believe in Chrome or Firefox. It shows you when people you follow get online. It will alert you, you can click to go to their stream...and you can sort its list of your following by number of viewers (ascending or descending), title of the artist ( A-Z or Z-A), game being played, or how recently they logged on.

Cannot sort followed channels by viewcount, they are all out of wack and makes me want to unfollow everyone I haven't watched in the last week. Don't force us to use 1 sort option, allow us to sort by how we want. Viewcount, recently watched, not watched recently, new game or w/e, sure theres a few more options that could be sorted by, but don't force us to use a type (other than viewcount since everyone is use to that already).

I'm sure this is probably more of a niche problem, but when you follow a lot of channels, the 'followed channels' sidebar can get really crowded. It would be great if we could separate or filter this list by channels we're subscribed to. This is especially useful for when you get gifted a few subs and would like to check out a channel again without scrolling through your notifications. In addition, a search bar for your followed channels would be nice to quickly find that offline channel without searching your list manually

I think you should be able to sort your followed channels in various ways: low to high; uptime; total hours streamed; gameplay; watchtime. I could go on. Trying to keep this short LUL
