Allow manual sorting of your Followed Channels
Simply allow full manual sorting of all your followed channel in the sidebar (on desktop, Chrome/Firefox etc.). Additionally give options to sort by subscriber/follower count (add new ideas here..).
Currently the channels are in what seems to be a completely random order (definitely not alphabetical or by sub/follow count). My most watched streamers which are also big by overall Twitch standards are at the very bottom by default and I need to 1) scroll down, 2) click "more" twice to get to them when they're not live.

@DoubleMastectomy - as a workaround, you can get your favourites to the top by unfollowing and then re-following them. The most recently followed will be at the top.

please. I'm so tired of needing to scroll so far to reach my favorite channels. I follow a lot of channels and the default sorting options don't work for me. I feel disincentivized from following more people at this point, which feels counterintuitive to what twitch should want from its users.

This. Especially joining group content projects with other content creators. I'll want to raid someone from my team who's currently part of the same project, but these teams are usually filled with new content creators that I haven't networked with before.
An option to put followed channels in a folder or tabs like discord does would help me to navigate this. -

One way to "manually" re-sort is to unfollow a channel and then re-follow. The most recently followed channels appear at the top.

I can't believe this feature isn't there yet, with this ticket literally being from 2018. The default sort is garbage. Stop firing people long enough to fix your ****.

Sorting would be great. But even just putting subscribed channels at the top would help. I have about three subbed at any one time, but if they're not streaming I have to go digging way down the list to find them. It's patently ridiculous.

100% would like to click and drag followed channels to manually order them. I want to easily access my preferred channels even when they are offline. Clicking more and scrolling for the channels I watch regularly is inconvenient and annoying.

Scrolling to the bottom to check out my most watched channels in my followed list while their offline is inconvenient and feels like it would not be too hard to adapt a few sorting types.

A sort according to category would be nice. Then you can group the channels accordingly in a drop down.
I watch a specific category on a day so I want to see all people that I can watch all together and pick one of them. Normally, I just highlight and have to scroll a lot that is tedious.
Other ideas can be alphabetical, viewer count etc. -

So good topic

This should be an easy add that people have been asking about for literal years. Just make a page that allows us to drag around our follow list, exactly the same as you let it do for our auto-hosting list. Simple and a quick W.

Would love to see this feature. Sometimes you want to follow people, but they're not necessarily your favorite channels. Would be cool to be able to have a favorites section at least.

Seriously, I follow about a dozen people, but only regularly watch a few, and they never seem to be at the top of the list.

It would be amazing if we could create folders for example I want to watch league of legends so I search my league folder to see what channels I follow are online or if I wanna watch booba streamers then I search my booba folder, etc.

Once you scroll below the live channels the list of channels you follow is not in any discernible order. If you want to find someone you have to scroll repeatedly until you see them. If they were alphabetized it would be less cumbersome to locate people.

Allow us to sort followed channels by the date that they were last active/most recently active...I have hit the limit of how many twitch channels I can follow. Now I have to go through try to find inactive ones. I've found channels that were not active for two years. There's no point in following a channel that hasn't been live for so long that person isn't coming back probably. But now I cannot follow new streamers because I am at the limit. This decreases how often I am going to use twitch because it is too much effort to go through ALL MY FOLLWED CHANNELS to sort out inactive ones.

It's not much but I just got the ability to pin up to 3 channels to the top of my following list.

We NEED the ability to reorder/group/possibly crate folders in the Followed Channels list.
Example, if we can reorder not only by default number of viewers. Also, let's say someone watches APEX and Just Chatting streamers the most. If we could create an APEX folder we can add all the channels in that "folder" of all the APEX streamers I follow.
I know a LOT of people that have expressed interested in a feature such as this and would be used. If at least, can we get a test.... thank you!! :)
