ICE Creators On Twitch should be Able to Opt-Out of ICE Recruitment Ads.
Many of our communities are comprised of people actively being harmed by ICE Policies and Actions Under Trump. There are already creators saying they'll leave Twitch, or use Ad-Blockers More which will harm the platform as a whole (both in revenue and viewership).
This principle should also apply to Military, or any Government Recruitment; saying this as a Military Veteran myself, with members of my community also being veterans.
I Feel We should be allowed to deny Advertisements for ICE, who are committing violent extra-judicial and unconstitutional actions…
2,021 votesHi @Reneta_Scian. We appreciate you raising this concern. Claims that ICE runs ads on Twitch are untrue, and no one has approached us to run ads. There are no plans for any advertising campaigns for ICE.

Stop suggesting Russian streams if you watch Ukrainian ones Stop suggesting Russian streams if you watch Ukrainian ones.
I understand this is how machine learning works, but please special case that, since it’s offending to most Ukrainians.
9 votesHello there,
For recommended streams, you can click on the three buttons and indicate that you are "Not Interested" in the content to help the system learn your preferences. Thank you.

the three dots on recommendation re not interested are not there, the three dots on recommendation re not interested are not there,
2 votesHi,
For clarity, you must be browsing categories by "Recommended for You" to be able to select "Not Interested". When you're browsing by views, this option will not be available, as it is based on view counts, not recommendations. Thanks.

safety I am frustrated that I saw some streamers and content I did not want to see on my discover pages. I want to come on to twitch and have a completely wholesome experience - how do I get all unwholesome and creepy content away and never before my eyes here? I looked at all the settings and only saw the ability for auto moderation in chat. Please help : (
1 voteClick on the "⋮" icon below the channel when browsing recommendations on the Front Page and select "Not Interested". Another alternative is using /block chat command and inputting the channel you want to block. This will remove it from your recommendations. Thanks.

Admin audit: Create search filters that would offer more consideration for smaller streamers and narrow down streams by additional aspects (such as country or newer streamers, for example).
Also, I want you to feature more streamers with mid-low number of viewers (0 ~100 people) on the front page carousel.
Anyway, since the search filters are limited on Twitch, I think it would help to bring more parity to those available for Nico Nico Douga.1 voteThanks for submitting your idea; however, it seems that there are multiple suggestions in this one idea that would make it difficult to determine which part of it others users might be voting for, so we ask that you please resubmit the various suggestions as different ideas. If I misunderstood and these suggestions are all in regard to filtering streams on the front page, please let me know. I have attached an admin audit to the idea of what I was able to determine from your description. Thank you so much.

Make it easier to block twitch accounts and to block Make it easier to block twitch account and also specific games/categories. I'm tired of channels I don't care about showing up in my recommended and having no way to remove them from there. I don't think this message will even by seen by anyone who can do about it. Twitch doesn't care about me as a user. Things are made deliberately difficult to find in an attempt to frustrate the user.
2 votesClick on the "⋮" icon below the channel (you an also do this for categories when browsing recommendations on the Front Page or "Recommended for You" filter in the Browse tab) and select "Not Interested". This will remove it from your recommendations. If you ever change your mind or make a mistake, you can adjust the channels you have marked to not show in your recommendations by going to your account settings. Another alternative is using /block chat command and inputting the channel you want to block. Thanks.

No True Discovery Options There is no current way within Twitch to grow your channel. Been here for years and this is by far the biggest setback that Twitch has. Without an implementation of discovery, this platform is bound to become irrelevant for the increasingly alienated small streamers. There is no real incentive to steam on Twitch. There is zero opportunity for growth with the current business model. Fix needed a decade ago.

Stream doesn't show up at times I was checking if my stream would show up as live under the Oldschool RuneScape section and whenever I switched from "Low to high" or "High to low" viewer count sometimes my channel wouldn't even show up in there, I checked so many times and it switched at times, one time I wouldn't show up from High to low, other times from Low to high, idk if it's a bug and if u can figure out what is doing that, but yeah.. I think it is kind of the point to be in there right rather then to not be…
1 voteHey there,
Please reach out to our support team to investigate why your stream might not be showing in the directory. Thank you.

new category for people who do streams outside it would be nice to add a specific category for people who stream outside their homes, to differentiate from the people who stay at their homes just talking to their chat, because currently they have to use the same category which is "Just Chatting". And they are two very different stream types to be using the same category.
some names that I would recommend would be, the boring one just "Outside", the intresting one "In The Wild", or my favorite one "Touching Grass".1 voteThere is a "Travel & Outdoors" categories. This should address this request. Thank you.

1 voteHey there,
You need to click on the three dots by a video and choose "Not Interested". Another alternative is using /block command on a channel. This will keep it from showing in your recommendations, as well.

"songbattle.io" Category "songbattle.io" is a music-based tournament that is often played by streamers along with their communities and audience. These streamers have been asking us, the developers, for a category repeatedly, and do revert to "Just Chatting" most of the time.
We have proposed songbattle.io to IGDB, but were rejected due to them not considering it a game by their guidelines. Instead, they proposed we try here, referring to cases such as "Dungeon Alchemist", which is not a game per se, but still used by streamers and their audience.
Thanks for considering!
Sebastian4,206 votesWe appreciate your patience while your Twitch category request for Songbattle.io was considered. This request will not be accepted as the application does not contain enough gameplay to be considered a video game under IGDB's content policy. Please kindly note that the decision on this matter is final.

Please include ALL currently live channels for game categories When browsing a game category, please show all live channels that are streaming that game. However the filter works currently is not ideal because it does not show all live channels for that game, only some. If there are "too many" please ad a "next page" button. Do not limit what we can see based on factors we did not decide on.
1 voteWhen browsing by game category, the list should display all live channels. There is somewhat of an infinite scroll mechanism, so you keep going down the page, and more channels will pop up. You can also sort results by "
Recommended For You,
Viewers (High to Low),
Viewers (Low to High), or
Recently Started".

Admin audit: Removed PII mentioning other user
