Add a general Star Wars category. We would love to see a general Star Wars category where all fans doing all things Star Wars related could stream in that category. For example, playing SWTOR? You could stream in that category. Star Wars cosplayers could stream in the category. Other Star Wars games, same thing. The Star Wars game viewership isn't as large as other categories, but Star Wars content combined could be something great. We'd love to see this happen so we could help the games get more traffic and meet a lot more Star Wars nerds. ;o) Thanks!

Adding DMZ as a game category to help discoverability would like to add call of duty : dmz as a separate category on twitch to help discoverability for dmz creators so we aren't all lost in the warzone category
have had multiple people stop by saying they are looking for dmz content but its hard to find

Veterans I would love to see an actual category devoted entirely to only Veterans. We could provide our proof of service to be given access to stream in the channel and everyone, whether they are a veteran or not could interact and participate. It would allow millions of veterans to connect and interact with those that support our veterans.

Allow for Denotation of Stream Game categories by a "Game - Series" Format A big issue with discoverability on Twitch, especially with retro or niche topics, is through how Categories are currently handled. When categorizing what the stream is doing, there is only two extreme options of the exact, specific game ("Pokémon Scarlet/Violet" or "Final Fantasy XII Remake") or the broadest topic of the game ("Retro" or "Games + Demos"), with no middle ground to help summarize things and no choice to have more than 1 game in your category. Along with this, retro titles (Such as older Final Fantasy games), are basically screwed into being a part of the extremely broad categories…

"Coworking and Study" Category Last year, you all implemented a "coworking" tag for WFH, study, and remote working streams.
All of us in the coworking community really appreciated the tag! It helped users and viewers find streamers to study alongside, especially in a time when everyone was working from home. Add "Storm Chasing" as a Category I've been asked to stream on Twitch from time to time, although I'm usually on here to watch streams of the game I developed. I chase storms and currently have a Youtube channel for it, but during a chase this summer I met someone who was livestreaming their chase to Twitch. I couldn't help but notice these streams are marked as "just chatting," which I feel makes this particular interest more difficult to find for those who would like to watch it, and oversaturates the "just chatting" category.

Add game category Hi. Can you please add own category for indoor rowing app named EXR (exrgame.com). All other bigger eracing platforms like zwift or RGT cycling has their own category, but this EXR rowing doesnt have. When i´m streaming EXR, i need to use Fittness and healt or what ever category and that really sucks!

New category: Paranormal Hello, I've noticed recently on Twitch that there are several groups of people that are streaming paranormal investigation information under the Podcasts/Talk Shows category, and it doesn't appear that they are getting the adequate viewership that they should. Since this is a category that I've seen become very popular in recent years, I'm actually somewhat surprised that this hasn't been brought up. Add The Disney Afternoon Collection It would be awesome if you could add The Disney Afternoon Collection to categories. There's a robust IGDB page already, and it features some classic games. I've tried streaming it under the categories of the particular game I'm playing, but still end up getting muted and a DMCA notice from Capcom.

Add a new category I stream my bubble hockey league playing a few times a month and just had a pretty successful tournament here in Ellicott City, MD. Would love to be able to classify the stream as "Table Hockey" or "Bubble Hockey" as a category because we are not streaming a game called Table Ice Hockey or Podcasting about Table Hockey and would love to build the category.

Our game is misidentified on your site I represent Helm Boy Studios and our game, Helios, is incorrectly displayed on your site.
You can find the game after some scrolling and it includes the correct information and box art but when you click on the game from the search page you are taken to a different page regarding a different game also called Helios.
Our game is a Social VR platform in Unreal Engine but according to twitch we are this different Helios that has something to do with trading cards and city building.

Irrelevant Create an "Irrelevant Gaming" directory. Or something titled similarly. This directory would help viewers find niche games and could easily grow to the size of the retro directory. This could be a new staple for Twitch. This give streamers who want to play games with 0 live channels an avenue to play and build a healthy community within the directory helping support others who enjoy forgotten games. Remove/Merge "Remastered/Definitive Edition/Special Edition/HD Edition" categories Simply put these remasters, definitive editions, collections, re-releases are the same games. It has became a chore to navigate through the categories to find new content when the games are split up into two, or in some cases even more unnecessary listings.
