For lesser viewed games, there should be general categories. For games that attract less viewers, such as Pokémon, there should be a general category- rather than split into separate games. The new system discourages growth, with splitting the already split categories- and dampens growth of creators. Please make a general Pokémon category and help out your creators!

Change Category image for Need For Speed Most Wanted(2012) Category Image Was Changed To The Same as The 2005 NFSMW Title.
This Causing Confusion in Users and Content Creator.
I Suggest 3 Changes:
1- Change Category Image For NFSMW 2012 Official Image.
2- Change Category Name to Need For Speed Most Wanted(2012);
3- Change Need For Speed Most Wanted(2005) TO Need For Speed Most Wanted, without (2005), becoming the Need for Speed Most Wanted 2005 the main title.Points 1 and 2 are self explained, point 3 is for Te Fact "NFS Players Don't like the 2012 title as the 2005", being the "Good One" the 2005 title.
About Ads, Just adjust its quality to user's Selected Quality o something closer to what is selected for stream quality.

Could you add a "Game" title? "Amaryllis Grid" and/or "Halcyon" & "OpenSim" Hello, I've been streaming from an online 3D Grid world called Amaryllis Grid [https://AmaryllisGrid.com] which is a "Halcyon" Grid (closed world). As opposed to other "OpenSim" worlds such as Osgrid [https://Osgrid.org] & DiscoveryGrid [https://discoverygrid.net] which each usually has the "Hypergrid" connection allowing users to jump between the grids. (that's not the case with Halcyon worlds)
When I select the game category for my stream, there's not many options for "grid" so I just pick one. Though would you be able to add one or more 'game' titles such as "Amarylls Grid," "Halcyon," "Osgrid," "Discovery Grid," & "OpenSim." Although I usually stream from Amaryllis Grid, so I'd prefer if you add "Amaryllis Grid" and/or "Halcyon" as additional "game" titles for the game category on the stream/videos.
(Also I've noticed that on the mobile app for Android, when I try to change the stream title, it doesn't allow me to put in any spaces. Why does it do that?)
Thank you.

The Crackdown 2 category does not have an image to go with it. I am planning on streaming Crackdown 2 this coming week, and when searching for the game on Twitch I found out there is not image for the game. Adding an image to the category will help us and others with recognizing the game.

Adding an official picture to killzone 2 game category Hello,
My gametag is DeMoNFH361 and I am looking forward to doing to elite live streams of killzone 2. Is there a way the game picture can be updated in the twitch killzone 2 selection because as of now it only displays a generic icon instead of the official Killone 2.
Kindly,
DeMoNFH361

Please let me sort categories in reverse order I would very much like to sort the categories in reverse order. The list is too long to conveniently scroll to the bottom, and the same dozen things are always on top of the list. There's a lot of very interesting streams, games and things at the bottom. If I could order categories so that the least watched things are on top, this problem would go away.

Make a category for games that have in-game drops enabled Make a category for games that have in-game drops enabled like RPG, Action, Adventure; we could have a category like "in-game drops" in which only games that have drops enabled are listed

Be able to adjust the settings for your Followed Games section. For some reason only on the Xbox One as appose to the PC, it shows every single game you follow currently being streamed live. on PC, it only lets you see the followed games that have more than 20 viewers or more currently being watched on whatever Followed game you follow.
On the Xbox One, for some reason now it your Followed Games page is in alphabetical order of followed games (so Ape Escape or Banjo-Kazooie being always at the front, and Super Mario & Zelda at the end) but if you keep scrolling, they have another alphabetical order list of followed games, but this time it's only for games that don't have a lot of viewers.
Once upon a time of the Xbox One version of Followed games, the Followed Games order used to be from most current viewers watching live, but now it's in alphabetical order. And I wish you could adjust it to however you like, but Twitch doesn't have this feature. I know it may come across as petty to some people, and I don't know if I'm the only person on Twitch who only uses the website to for it's followed games section and speed runs of Donkey Kong Country, Banjo-Kazooie, Super Mario 64 & Ocarina of Time (Though I always hope the top speed runners are live). But yeah, it's only a small request, but I feel like even asking this question, or ANY question for the matter, is a huge ordeal for Twitch, and I have no idea who to ask.
Overall, I just wish there was more freedom to do things so that everyone's happy, not just for me but for Twitch also.
:)

variety stream game option I consider myself a variety streamer, but hardcore, I could change games every hour, and every single time I do I have to update my dashboard. Doing so actually makes it more difficult for people to find me. We need a 'Variety' option in the games section so that people know they can come watch me if they just want entertainment in a variety of games.

Story Time Category? People of all ages like listening to others tell stories, whether they're true stories or works of fiction. I think it'd be awesome if Twitch had storytellers on its platform 24/7 so people of all ages could tune in and listen. Whether it's for bedtime stories, relaxation, etc. I think it'd be really cool. I know it's not very realistic since most people wouldn't spend their time telling stories on Twitch, but it's food for thought.

Could you please add a Fitness catagory? Would love to have a Fitness catagory on Twitch. Some of the people I watch on here live in foreign countries and it is amazing to see all the sights as they are walking around playing Ingress or Pokemon Go. Would be nice to allow them to just walk around and talk about their countries without having to be playing a game while doing so.

Don't Rename "Travel & Outdoors" to "IRL" Twitch recently announced they're going to make this change, but instead of helping it will only confuse people. IRL is currently a directory that comprises multiple categories: Just Chatting, Travel & Outdoors, Music, Art, Sports, etc. There are some who are nostalgic and stuck in the past, and refer to IRL as outdoor streams only. But, as we've seen, IRL has expanded a lot over time and has become anything a streamer would do that doesn't involve streaming video games. We need to move forward instead of backward.
Instead of making this change, a more helpful approach would be this suggestion here: https://twitch.uservoice.com/forums/310210-discover/suggestions/47420147-browseable-directories
This would help by making the IRL directory the catch-all place for all IRL content instead of Just Chatting. The current layout of the Browse page doesn't work for everybody. It needs to be fully browseable. When we click one of the directory banners (Games, IRL, Creative, etc.) it would be better to show all the streams within that directory instead of showing recommendations. For anyone interested in discovering new channels or getting recommendations they already have a dedicated page for that: the Main/Discover page. Lets keep browsing separate from recommendations. Therefore, move the recommendations from the Browse page into the Main/Discover page to complement what is already there.
With this approach streamers may become comfortable and incentivized to use proper categories to distinguish their content, which will bring more organization, while still getting them noticed within the whole of IRL. If streamers started using the appropriate categories, viewers would know where to go to find the content they are looking for and channels would get better discoverability in return. This could also satisfy those who wished for the initial IRL category to return. That isn't practical now because of the variety in IRL content, hence a browseable IRL directory would be a much better solution.
